Hold your breath ...
... Make a wish ...
... Count to three ...
Who am I? ... Make a wish ...
... Count to three ...
The shadow following the clown, the practicality beneath the theatrics; otherwise known as the man behind the curtain. My unassuming nature and analytical mind do not betray the hidden Machiavellian puppet master that lurks within my soul. My lengthy decades long history of the written word is a passion project that is near and dear to me; yet so rarely realized in my day to day life. It's the quiet soul of the silver-tongued poet that seeks some release and escape from the normalcy that haunts my everyday. Though it is a bit rude to peak behind that verdant tapestry to unveil what lies beneath, for posterity I'll acquiesce. I've made my career in IT, and have a full life enjoying the friends, family, and passions that are truly the things that matter most to me. This right here is more of a side project, not for anyone else, but simply for my enjoyment. I get along well with most people, and can find common ground in nearly any scenario; but I also pick my partners carefully with a judicious scrutiny. With experience comes perspective, and I've got leagues enough of it to understand where to invest my limited time. That being said, if I reach out to you - it's because I admire something that I saw, and it's one of highest forms of praise I know how to give.
Anyone is welcome to also reach out to me, as I am not one to ignore and ghost on others. You should be aware that my penchants for writing are almost exclusively on the darker shade of the pale light. There's room for comedy, levity, witty acerbic sarcasm, and even affection; but those are all considered seasoning to me. They are sprinkled bits of enhancement to further develop the story. Above all I love to tell a good tale, to entertain and to feed. So I'll take a moment to explain that last word. How do I feed? It's quite simple - the collaborative writing process has been my favorite because my writing partners are offering up their mind and emotions into their replies. A well crafted response is like a three course meal to me, and that is what I devour. Compelling reciprocation ignites and sparks those creative juices to flow and enter into that well articulated dance of a back and forth repartee.
Just a few more bits of housekeeping that may also help - and in quick bullet pointy style to not waste more time!
