Hi everyone!
I've been thinking a lot lately about a plot involving two people in the early stages of some form of "recovery." Maybe they're newly sober, maybe they've finally left an abusive cult or corrupt religious community, maybe they suddenly find themselves free from a spell or curse...or maybe something else entirely. Maybe they met in a support group, maybe they're old/estranged friends, maybe they're coworkers who have nothing else in common besides their struggle to rebuild their lives. In any case, I'm looking for something wholesome, platonic (with maybe the slowest of slow burn romance), and slice-of-lifey...just two flawed people trying their best.
I'm keeping this intentionally vague because I really like plotting and coming up with characters together with a partner...so if anyone's interested, drop me a line! Open to writers/characters of any gender, though 25+ please.
