Hello! My name is R E D A C T E D, and welcome to my roleplay request thread! I'll go ahead and jump straight into the details:
About me:
I am a 24 year old male from the US, and I have been writing for approximately 12 years now. I enjoy music, history, video games, table top roleplaying games, and much more. I'm quite friendly (at least I think so), and I love meeting new people.
What to Expect from Me as a Roleplay Partner:
Detailed posts ranging from 300 - 800 word depending on my flow.
Realistic characters with depth, complexity and flaws. (I love playing a good morally gray character)
While I do spent a lot of my free time writing, I do work a full-time job and go to school at the same time. You could expect at least one post a day from me, maybe more if I'm really hooked on our story.
I like to be generally commutative with my writing partners. I will let you know ahead of time as best I can if there is a delay on a post, or if I need a break to prevent burnout (but if you hook me enough, there won't be a burnout ;) )
I love, love, love to plan stories and scenes ahead of time. I don't mean having the whole plot laid out before we start, but just a few scenes just so we know a general direction we want to take things.
I absolutely love chatting ooc. I like to gush over our characters and discuss silly headcanons and more!
What I Expect from You
Effort. I'm obviously not asking you to bust your ass on a post, but I like to see enthusiasm and interest in a story that we can both build together. I tend to feed off of my partner's energy. So, if you're excited about a story we could write together, I'm excited!
This kind of goes hand in hand with effort, but I appreciate my partner's ideas on building a plot of world for us.
Communication. I understand that life can get crazy, and that's totally okay! All that I ask for is communication. If you don't like something that I'm doing, or you lose interest in the story we're writing, please tell me; you will not be hurting my feelings by being honest.
Halfway decent grammar/spelling. Hey, we all have spelling errors or grammatical mistakes. As long as I can glean what you're trying to say to me, we're square.
Stories/Genres I Enjoy
I prefer story over smut, however, that doesn't mean I don't like healthy dose of spice. I just want those scenes to feel earned, like a real connection has been established between our characters. While it's fun to just get right to the steamy stuff, its much more fulfilling in a slow burn. As far as tone, I enjoy darker, grittier plots. Violence in my stories is fast and brutal, and I aim for character deaths to either hurt or to make you cheer.
With that being said, here are some genres I enjoy writing in:
