Due to some less than ideal events, Muse A had gotten pair bonded to someone who'd abandoned him as soon as the bite had been made – it made him sour towards alphas to say the least. However, through a series of events, he ran into a problem he'd never expected, that being wanting to pair with someone else. Why? Well, he'd somehow managed to run into his fated pair, knowing so by being able to be heavily attracted to him despite his original pair bond. Of course, he doesn't want to admit it at first since he'd sworn to be single forever after the unfortunate event, but the two soon become close. (Muse B could be the fated pair, the pair bonded, or we could do a love triangle with both alphas.)

He's the first odd to be allowed into the school, so a lot of the other students treat him differently. While at the school he meets Muse B. (I'd love to have B be an outright bully or, better yet, pretend to be A's friend in order to do something nasty. Would also be cool if B was a teacher humiliating A and pressuring him into sex. I'm tired of special little angels. I want a drama filled kink fest!)

One day, A saw B walking out of a bar with another guy and, in a rage, beat up the stranger before kidnapping B.

His body,however, couldn't be found, which led to many people wanting to investigate on their own, giving the police a harder time than they'd already had with the case. Muse B could be some random person looking for the man just to see if the stories about him were real, a stressed out cop, or one of the guilty party Muse A wants to take revenge on.

Monsters are animalistic humans, and despite controversy and protests to give monsters protection and citizenship, monster hunting for poaching and capturing has been a popular sport for experienced hunters wanting some excitement. Particularly prized monsters include – harpies, for their feathers, ease in escaping due to flight, and beautiful voices; nagas, due to an aggressive nature, valued snake skin, and large size; and arachnids, due to their scarcity, silky webs, and sly, seductive nature. Of course, there's many more exciting and undervalued monsters for easygoing monster hunters to look for. Whether willfully or not, Muse A goes on a hunting trip in which he finds a wounded Muse B. Will he help him, capture him, or play his own sadistic mind games with the creature?
