Hi everyone! My name is Cactus (she/they) and I've finally joined after lurking about for a few weeks. I joined because I'm hoping to improve my writing and share my ideas and stories with you lovely people.
I'm in my early thirties and have been roleplaying off-and-on for about twenty years in a variety of settings. I like to think I am mostly literate. Looking at other posts I can tell I will be in good company with my interests, which include reading, gaming, worldbuilding, gardening (indoor and out), and sketching (badly). I have particularly intense and demanding day-job, so getting to escape into fiction is a nice break, but it also means my schedule fluctuates.
At the moment I am particularly looking for stories with at a romantic element, set in worlds that are modern alternate reality (our world, but different in some way), supernatural (as in, vampires and werewolves and such, not necessarily the show…which I haven't actually seen yet), or low-magic antiquity/medieval.
