greetings, reader ! here's hoping your day's been good and that you won't be disappointed, after reading this pretty vague request. because when am i ever prepared with detailed plots ? this peanut sized brain could never. anyway, onto the important stuff !
FIRST IDEA :
i'm looking to write a mxm romance, taking place in england during the 1800's. i will be writing my pre - made oc, william evans. a rich, only - child of two . . . questionable parents. he's an effeminate young person, around 24 - 27, but his age can be adjusted according to our needs. probably younger than 30, though. his parents are this overly religious couple, who surprisingly wanted a daughter, in order to wed her into the royal family and create ties that would further their influence. the father is a judge of the high court and the mother is a very snobbish richwoman, who loves the attention. they tried to raise william as a girl, which resulted in him being genderfluid and very in touch with his feminine side. i use he / him out of habit, but he / she / they are all fine as pronouns for him. i plan on creating a profile for him in my roster as soon as i have time, but feel free to message me for more details on william himself.
the vague idea is an arranged engagement between william and the crown prince. it could be that the crown prince thinks william is a young woman ( alias, elizabeth ), or he could know he's amab and genderfluid. which isn't very realistic with the era i want to write in, but it's roleplay, so who cares. it can be a very angsty romance, which i prefer. as in william's attempts to make the prince fall in love with him. it's a very open scenario, so we can discuss specifics and you can pitch in your ideas as well !
my only real requirements are that william is the submissive of the relationship and that writing itself is in third person and past tense. present tense is fine too, but third person is mandatory cause second / first person makes me a little uncomfortable. smut isn't necessary, but i do enjoy writing it, if you're not flat out uncomfortable with it. let me know.
as a trigger warning, william is mentally ill, so darker themes will be explored in the roleplay. mostly mental illness, neglect, abandonment issues and potentially some blood / death of NPCs. mostly mentions, not a flat out HORROR plot.
i tend to prefer animated faceclaims for mine and my writing partner's muses, but if you prefer to use an actor, do let me know and we can figure it out.

i figured i could drop this one here too because it's been on my mind for a very long time. the story is that of a young dancer / performer in ancient china and the emperor falls in love with him and wishes to make him his. EVERYTHING WILL BE CONSENSUAL ! yichen ( my oc ) will fall in love as well, prior to any actual romance taking place. the setting is historical china. yaknow, just like one sees in xianxia / wuxia / danmei. it doesn't have to be 100% historically accurate because i'm not an expert either. the plot itself is romance, mixed with drama and some politics, due to the characters' vastly different social statuses, them being men and the emperor being married to his snobbish wife via an arranged marriage. yichen is 27 - 34, by preference and i'd like the emperor to be in his 40's. it would make more sense that way. the " age gap " can be discussed.
i have information of yichen in my drafts, so message me for more information, until i have the time to make a proper profile for him.
some tw will apply. mostly mentions in headcanons and whatnot. maybe some blood and injury, language, etc. smut is preferred but not mandatory. again, animated faceclaims preferred, but you can use a live action one. especially here because i love cdrama actors. i can offer tons of recommendations because i watch alot of wuxia.
