hello,
my username is ClaraOswald and I just recently signed up on this website ,searching for one or two partners to roleplay with. Since I am new here, there probably are a few things about me that you might want to know :

I have roleplayed for about ten years now, the first three years only in german but eventually started to roleplay on english websites as well. Still, I make mistakes and I ask that anyone I write with, tells me about the mistakes I make so that I can continue to improve my skills.

I have a preference for story-driven roleplays , especially the ones that involve romance in one way or another - though it really does not matter to me whether the pairing involves a female and a male, male and male or two females. Smut might happen during the roleplay if the situation calls for it, but I won't do a roleplay which only centers around smut. I've done that a couple times before and think , that it gets stale rather quickly. I tend to stick to original characters , the setting in the modern time or some slight fantasy world and won't do fandom roleplays though. I only write in third person past tense .

I only do 1x1 roleplays though, simply because I am a bit too insecure to post them where everyone might be able to read what I write. So I rather stick to roleplaying in private messages . I've got a discord account too, though I realized that roleplays I do on discord lack a certain length in their posts but if you want to chat , we surely can stick to that too .

Plotting : I often use plots I found on Plotsforall 2.0 . If that bothers you, we still can start to work on a plot ourselves. Still, if you wish to do so , keep in mind that I am not that much of a planner. I rather have a premade plot and start , to see where it goes rather than to plan it all out and suddenly, once we've done the whole planning, the other part vanishes and is never to be seen again. If we start plotting or maybe already roleplaying and my partner figures that we don't match together as roleplay partners, I expect him or her to tell me. I will do the same if I think so .

Character sheets : I only ever use very simple character sheets. Name, Age, what they look like. Maybe if the plot demands it , pieces of background story, though I tend to keep the history a bit shady, simply for the reason , that I tend to develop my characters during the roleplay.

here are some plots I'd like to try out:
Reservations & Revelations
Muse A and Muse B have been together romantically for 2 years and they've known each other for almost 5 years in total. Since their second date they've sworn to a policy of telling each other the truth no matter what, which they believe has kept their relationship strong for so long. Lately, the honest couple has been incredibly busy with work and family obligations, barely having time to sit down together for a full meal before one has to dash off. Their anniversary date approaches and the couple promises to set some time aside for the occasion. Whether by pure forgetfulness, a lack of time to talk, or a desire to surprise their significant other, Muse A and Muse B have been keeping some news from their partner –news that each of them will share during the anniversary dinner. The couple dresses up and heads out to their favorite spot in town, each person waiting for the right time to confess what they've been hiding. While waiting for dessert, Muse Afinally speaks up and says they have news to share. But so does Muse B, at the same time. Each insists that the other say what they have to say first and they ultimately rely on the flip of a coin to decide who spills first. Muse A is one month pregnant. Muse B is leaving (for someone else or for a job assignment thousands of miles away).
Halfway
After being wrongly imprisoned for 2 years, Muse A gets out on parole. Adjusting to life on the outside is difficult with a conviction on their record, especially since no one knows the truth– which is that Muse A was innocent and had to take the fall for someone who was threatening their family. As a term of their parole, Muse A must live in a halfway house and maintain employment for 6 months without committing any criminal offenses or they risk an immediate return to prison. Muse A just wants life to return to something resembling normal, so they take the first job opportunity that will have them. Muse B is a customer who frequents Muse A's place of work. Although Muse A tries to keep to themselves in order to avoid any potential trouble, Muse B manages to crack Muse A's hardened exterior. Over time, Muse B becomes someone whom Muse A looks forward to seeing and spending time with. As a tentative relationship grows, Muse A starts to feel like they can put their unjust past behind them. That is– until Muse B invites Muse A to meet their sibling, Muse C, who Muse A recognizes as the person they went to prison because of. Now Muse A must decide whether their budding relationship with Muse B is more important to them than seeking revenge on Muse C and jeopardizing their freedom.
The New Patient
Muse A has been a resident of the local psychiatric hospital since their youth. Because of the nature of their disorder, they keep primarily to themselves and don't go out of the way to meet people. Other patients aren't necessarily scared of them, but it's common knowledge that Muse A is not to be bothered and people generally comply.
Muse B is a newly admitted patient to the same hospital. They're loud, aggressive, and in the short amount of time they've been there, have managed to get on almost everybody's nerves at least once.
Muse A, by habit, goes out of their way to avoid Muse B, but Muse B is fascinated by them and how they're viewed by the other patients. They make it their personal mission to get as close as they possibly can to Muse A, to the point that the staff takes notice and has to threaten Muse B with a stint in solitary confinement.
One day Muse B manages to steal a key card and ambushes Muse A in a hallway. Once the two are alone, Muse B is finally able to get answers from Muse A.
OUT OF BODY
Muse A has the power of projection–the ability to leave their physical body behind for a time and travel elsewhere. Muse A is corporeal in their projected state, able to interact with others and engage all of their senses, but they are always bound by the limitations of their dormant body's stamina. Each time Muse Aprojects out of their body, it takes a toll on them physically. If they only project for a few minutes, the toll is hardly noticeable. However, the longer they remain away from their physical body, the weaker it becomes and the less time it is able to sustain another projection.
Option A) Muse A is physically disabled/chronically ill with a condition that leaves them unable to travel far from their home. When they project into the world, they can experience life as an able-bodied, healthy person for the first time in years (or ever). They utilize the opportunity to experience all they are missing out on as much as they can, despite the toll it takes on their already poor health. Muse A meets Muse B while projecting one day and finds great comfort/interest in them. Over time, Muse A focuses on projecting simply so that they can meet up with Muse B more and more, eventually establishing a relationship. Muse A's need for a sense of normalcy keeps them from telling Muse B the truth, until that day when Muse A is too weak to hold their projected form and they 'disappear' right before Muse B's eyes..
Option B) Muse A is being held captive as a prisoner of war with no means nor hopes of escaping to safety. When they're not faced with unspeakable tortures at the hands of captors, they are left in abject isolation–enough to drive a sane person to desperation. Muse A uses their projection power in order to escape their bleak circumstances, if only for a few hours. Muse A projects themselves across the world one afternoon, after their captors have gone, and encounters Muse B. Though they have little time together, Muse Bquickly becomes a bright spot away from Muse A's horrible reality. Gradually, Muse A begins to hope that Muse B can help them be rescued..

Room 133( really would love to play muse A!)
Muse A has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital, and is currently undergoing a long term evaluation. Muse B is a volunteer at the hospital. They bring the families of the residents anything they may need, sit with patients that have no visitors, or simply act as a good listener when needed. A doctor on staff directs Muse Bto Muse A, explaining that Muse A is very much alert, but does not respond to anyone that attempts to interact with them. The doctor suggests that Muse B sit with Muse A on the next day, perhaps reading them a novel or telling stories in the hopes that a fresh face who is neither staff nor patient will garner a positive response. Muse B signs in the following day with a copy of their favorite book in hand and sits at Muse A'sside to read. Muse A does not respond for days on end, but one afternoon they finally make eye contact with Muse B, the hint of a smile on their features, looking forward to continuing the story. Muse B is overwhelmed by the small gesture, suddenly hit by the realization that in spite of Muse A's complete and utter silence, they have grown incredibly fond of them. As the novel progresses, so does the connection between volunteer and patient. Only when the last page has been read aloud does Muse A finally speak to Muse B.

DON'T FORGET ME !
Muse A is on their way home late one evening, driving along a quiet back road. A deer jumps in front of their vehicle, and startled, Muse A swerves sharply to avoid a collision with the animal. The car spins out of their control and causes them to crash, knocking Muse A unconscious. It takes nearly forty-five minutes for Muse B, a passerby (or first responder), to arrive on the scene. They immediately aid muse A, whose injuries are quite critical. Thankfully the quick actions of Muse B allow Muse A to be transported to the nearest hospital and stabilized, where they begin the long, slow road to recovery. Muse B continues on with their day to day life, but constantly thinks of Muse A and wonders how they are doing. Muse A recalls nothing of the accident, and tragically, absolutely nothing about their life up to this point (including their significant other), the head trauma endured in the crash having caused amnesia. When Muse A is removed from ICU, Muse B visits them in the hospital. Muse B is stunned and heartbroken when the nurse informs them that Muse A will have no idea who they are, but they still come forward to reintroduce themselves to Muse A.

Shift
While driving home on a quiet backstreet, Muse A spots a wounded animal on the side of the road. Having a soft spot for suffering creatures, Muse A pulls over and scoops the animal up into the backseat of their car. Muse A drives home with the good intention of nursing the poor animal back to health, unaware that the animal (Muse B) is really a shapeshifter. After making a comfortable place for Muse B to sleep, Muse A heads off to bed. By morning, Muse B is feeling a bit better and they shift back into their human form just as Muse Aenters the room to check up on them. Muse B tries their best to explain what's going on without terrifying Muse A. According to shapeshifter law, Muse B now owes Muse A their loyalty and must stay with them until the debt is repaid.
