So, I'm not getting fancy with this. I want to be simple and straight to the point.
I have no idea what I'm doing as far as plots currently. I'm just getting back into the writing game. Take it easy on me.
I'm taking it slow with developing characters. I used to go super deep into the lore with characters but this time I'm trying a simpler method. More of their details will be added as I develop them in various stories. You can find my character collection here: Character Profiles
Now, as far as any need to knows and what I look for, here they are......sort of:
- I'm ADHD and Autistic. With that, understand that patience is going to be key when working with me. I can run way into left field sometimes and need to be reeled back in. Or I can forget what I'm doing entirely. Getting frustrated with me will not help and pushing me to do anything will make me want to quit entirely.
- I'm detail oriented. I love details but not when they're overused. By overused I mean paying so much attention to one particular thing that it takes away from everything else. Be descriptive but use it to add to the scene as a whole.
- I prefer quality AND quantity. I understand if a reply has to be shorter than usual to keep up with quality but I believe in 'give what you get'. If I give a beautiful, long reply and get back a half-assed short reply back, it's not going to work.
- I rely on communication. I have a life outside of the internet as does everyone else. I have work 2-4 days a week and I will do my best to communicate the days I work each week. And the days I do work, I'm mentally and physically exhausted when I get home and have no mental capacity to deal with much till after I have a nap. I will also try my best to communicate any delays in posts. With this, I expect the same courtesy from my partners.
These are my personal roleplay guidelines I follow:
- I ONLY play original characters. Meaning if I enter into a fandom, I will create an ORIGINAL character based around the concept of that fandom. What you do is up for you to decide as well as what is allowed per site rules.
- I ONLY play male characters. The reason being is.....I suck at playing the female role. However, I may create an NPC for my character that is female to flesh out their story if I feel that is what is needed for them to feel more solid.
- I prefer MxM pairings but willing to do others IF I'm intrigued with the plot enough. Most of my characters are either gay, bi, asexual or demisexual. In some cases, I may make them heteroflexible(meaning straight but won't say no if interested enough.)
- Sexual themes are not required. If a romantic scene is at hand, it can be fade-to-black if so desired. Otherwise, it can be fully played out in the appropriate areas of the site or taken off site to elsewhere.
- Violence will likely happen depending on the story and the character involved.
-My characters CAN be fiddled with a little bit to suit the needs of the plot or partners withing reason as to not break their intended design. For example, I'm not going to turn a broody character into an overly happy one just because you don't like that part about them. Please respect my characters and their design and I will do the same for yours.
- Discussing the plot as we go along is a key component for me to remain engaged and motivated with the story. Tossing ideas around help keep the creative flow going.
