Hello, I'm Mez.

Curently looking for a long term lit RP partner (MxM) that enjoys world building and character development. I enjoy dark themes and do everything from slow burn to whiplash enemies turned lovers. My characters are usually created to fit a roleplay in particular rather than premade, but I find that they are usually charming, cold-hearted antiheroes with dark pasts that have made them the type of person they are, or ruggedly handsome antagonists/anti-villains with behavior problems that stem from the way the world has shaped them.

I like my stories to be plot-centered (70-80%) with a touch of smut(30-20%), and enjoy frequently messaging my partner OOC to share music/art + world build/plot. I write in third person POV & am only looking for partners that do the same. My replies are approx. 1000 words and I want partners who can match this. Typically, I can respond once every two days, and want a partner who can manage at least once every two weeks, not accounting for occasional hiatuses with prior notice.

I do not do:

  • Pregnancy
  • Potty Play
  • Omegaverse
  • Incest
Genres I am interested in:
  • Cyberpunk or Steampunk
  • Dystopian
  • Tyrant Governments
  • Prejudice Between Social Classes due to Superpowers and/or Technology
  • Large Countries at War
  • Superhero Fiction
  • Post-Apocalyptic
  • Fantasy or Dark Fantasy
  • Mafia/Gangster/Crime
  • Supernatural
  • Horror/Psychological Thriller
  • Medieval Fantasy Fiction
Themes I am interested in:
  • Angst (Heartbreak, Betrayal, Power/Corruption)
  • Codependency/Manipulation
  • Tragedy
  • Unhealthy/Toxic Relationship(s)
  • Good vs Evil
  • Romance (Slow Burn, Enemies as Lovers, Love/Hate, Enemies to Lovers)
  • Obsession/Unrequited Love
A handful of in-depth setting/narrative concepts are listed in the following post, but I am also open to mixing/matching settings with other pairings if you happen to have any suggestions of interest to offer. I am receptive to most propositions, and if you are interested in writing with me, don't hesitate to send me a private message!

Sample of my writing:

It was a peaceful evening, as most evenings were in Zenith Quarter— The coastal crown of Neo Athens, reserved for the wealthy elite. Peace here was always engineered: filtered air, regulated sound, curated light. The kind of quiet that didn’t happen naturally, but was enforced so subtly that most people forgot it was there.

Louis appreciated it anyway.

Inside Aetherium, warmth settled evenly into the space, a controlled contrast to the cold ocean winds outside. Beyond the reinforced glass walls, the sea rolled dark and endless, carrying salt air up along the cliffs and into the upper reaches of Zenith. The restaurant bar occupied the topmost level of a penthouse complex, high enough that the chaos of the common quarters of Neo Athens felt distant and contained.

Louis sat alone in a curved, window-side booth, shoulders relaxed in posture if not in truth. He rubbed his hands together slowly, more out of habit than need. His internal systems ran warm, too warm on most days— But the gesture grounded him, a leftover human reflex he hadn’t bothered to unlearn.

The glass reflected him faintly. Wind-tousled ash-blond hair framed a gaunt face pulled tight over sharp angles, pale skin broken by thin seams of mismatched cybernetic plating along his cheekbone and temple— Aftermarket, and poorly disguised. Both eyes glowed faintly, violet-blue rings bright against the dim, natural lighting of the space.

Louis looked out of place here, and he knew it.

The knitted camel-colored cashmere roll-neck sweater he wore was expensive and deliberately plain. He wore it not just for the ease of it but to blend in and pass in a neighborhood where every detail was noticed. Among the curated calm of wealth and refinement, it was better to look like everyone else— Even if he never truly felt he belonged.

The sweater softened his edges, at least.

Even in the dark, he could make out the manicured greenery of Zenith climbing the cliffs in tiered terraces of gene-locked trees and carefully tended gardens. Farther still, barely visible through atmospheric haze, neon bled into the skyline where Pride Port began.

Louis let his gaze linger there only briefly before pulling it back inside.

A waitress approached his booth, footsteps quiet against the polished floor. Mira fit the space perfectly, her dark hair loose and neatly kept, makeup natural in soft tones, and no visible cyberware to betray her origins. Her uniform was simple— Muted earth colors and clean fabric designed to be noticed only in the right way.

Artificial restraint was the latest fashion in the enclave of the ultra-wealthy.

“Your usual.” She said softly, offering a small, professional smile as she set a glass of champagne down in front of him. Beside it, she placed a small plate of carefully arranged bluefin tuna, the cut precise and the presentation minimalist. “I haven’t seen you in a while.”

“Yeah.” Louis replied, his voice even and controlled. He leaned back slightly into the booth, the movement measured. “I’ve been busy.” The corner of his mouth twitched— Not quite a smile, but close enough to pass. The mechanical hum beneath his skin never changed.

She studied him for a moment, curiosity flickering in her brown eyes. “You still haven’t told me what you do.” Mira said, her voice light but curious. “I had a chance to think a bit more while you were gone. My guess is that you’re a cyberneticist.”

Louis reached for his fork, fingers steady despite the tension coiled just beneath the surface. “Wrong.” He said flatly, pausing for just long enough for the weight of it to settle in the air. Then, almost casually, he spoke again. “Maybe next time.”

She exhaled, disappointment softening into amusement as a faint smile tugged at her lips. “One day.” Mira replied. “Enjoy the view.” With a graceful nod of her head, she turned and walked away, the quiet tap of her heels fading into the hum of the restaurant.

Louis watched her go until she disappeared into the muted flow of the restaurant. Only then did the vibration in his pocket pull his attention downward. He set the fork aside and retrieved his phone, bright eyes scanning the screen as he read, “Expect a guest from up north. Calls himself ‘Hollow.’”

His jaw tightened.

The toe of his dark brown loafer tapped once beneath the table.

This place was sacred. He hadn’t been here in three weeks, and the brief reprieve from noise and obligations had been enough to make him almost forget the outside world. It had a way of quieting the noise in his head, softening the edges of thought just enough to keep everything from tipping over. The patrons moved with practiced discretion, the classical environment calm and controlled— But most importantly, it didn’t give him a headache.

Louis exhaled slowly, letting the tension slip just a fraction, and picked up his fork again. Each bite of tuna was deliberate, a small exercise in order and control, refusing to let the intrusion steal what little peace he had carved out for the evening.

When the plate was empty, he pushed it aside and reached for the book resting beside him on the booth. Leather-bound, dense, and heavy with diagrams and technical schematics, it was a volume on advanced cybernetic theory— Perfect for anchoring his thoughts.

Louis thumbed through the pages until he reached Chapter 2, lilac orbs already scanning ahead to absorb the meticulous readings. He crossed one leg over the other, then began following the schematics with unblinking focus, letting the precision of each circuit hold the rest of the world at bay.

Setting Concepts

1. Extraterrestrial Invasion RP:

Humanity is being hunted by monstrous extraterrestrial forces, forcing survivors into fortified cities or desperate isolation. Among the chaos, rare individuals emerge with unnatural abilities; powers that mirror the invaders themselves. Hunted by both aliens and fearful humans, these “hunters” walk a dangerous line between savior and threat. As the truth behind their abilities begins to surface, trust fractures, and survival becomes as much about control as it is about combat.

Possible Pairings: Hunter x Human, Hunter x Hunter, Alien x Human, Alien x Hunter

2. Celestial Beings RP:

A war-torn, divided Earth is ruled by extreme religious ideologies, split between devotion to Heaven or Hell. Zealotry has shaped societies into oppressive regimes where belief determines survival, and dissent is met with punishment. Angels and demons are no longer myths but active participants— Emissaries, soldiers, or defectors navigating a world that tries to define them as symbols rather than individuals. As they walk among mortals, alliances blur and faith becomes both weapon and weakness.

Possible Pairings: Angel x Demon, Angel Worshipper x Demon Worshipper, Demon/Angel x Demon/Angel Worshipper

3. Supernatural RP:

A rain-soaked, noir world steeped in fear and prejudice where vampires and humans exist in a fragile, hostile balance. Violence and suspicion hang in the air, and every encounter feels like it could be the last. In the shadows, hunters stalk monsters, while vampires struggle to survive without becoming them. Beneath the surface, psychological tension builds as alliances shift, identities blur, and something far more dangerous than the night itself begins to take hold: connection.

Possible Pairings: Vampire x Hunter, Vampire x Vampire, Hunter x Hunter, Vampire x Human

4. Dystopian RP:

A rigid society divided by class and power, where the elite live in comfort and control the systems that sustain the world, while commoners endure harsh conditions and limited freedoms. Propaganda fuels division, and every interaction between classes carries tension; whether subtle or openly hostile. Beneath the surface, dissatisfaction grows, and resistance begins to take shape.

Possible Pairings: Aristocrat x Commoner, Aristocrat x Aristocrat, Commoner x Commoner, Aristocrat x Rebel

5. Medieval Fantasy RP (1):

A world divided into kingdoms, each shaped by different beliefs, traditions, and sources of power. Magic and authority are often tied to these systems, with each kingdom holding its own influence and rivalries. Political tensions and ancient disagreements keep the world in a fragile balance, where alliances and conflicts shift over time.

Possible Pairings: Mage x Rival Mage, Knight x Mage, Rival Knight x Rival Mage

6. Medieval Fantasy RP (2):

A world dominated by religious authority, where demons are feared and hunted as symbols of sin and corruption. Hunters are trained to eradicate them, while society as a whole is shaped by fear, doctrine, and long-standing prejudice. Demons, in turn, survive by feeding on the emotions they are said to embody, reinforcing the cycle of fear between both sides. Encounters between demons and those who hunt or fear them are dangerous and often hostile, but circumstances can force unlikely interactions. As individuals from opposing sides come into contact, they are confronted with the reality that not everything fits neatly into doctrine or belief.

Possible Pairings: Demon x Priest, Demon x Hunter

Narrative Concepts

1. Detective × Copycat Killer Obsessed With Them:

A detective tracks a killer recreating old cases, but each crime scene includes subtle references to the detective’s past. The killer begins communicating directly, escalating from admiration to possession, and the detective quickly realizes they’ve unknowingly shaped the killer’s entire identity.

2. Therapist × Patient Who May Be a Killer:

A therapist begins working with a patient whose “intrusive thoughts” are disturbingly vivid. Over time, small inconsistencies start to surface— Details that don’t quite match imagination. The patient grows calmer and more controlled, while the therapist finds their own boundaries beginning to slip.

3. Vampire x Vampire Hunter:

A vampire encounters a hunter they have killed in past lives— Again. The hunter shows no memory of their previous deaths, but reacts to the vampire with an unsettling familiarity. As they cross paths repeatedly, patterns begin to emerge, and the vampire grows more cautious, testing whether this version is different. Over time, the hunter’s certainty starts to fracture, and the line between past and present begins to blur, shifting the balance between them as both begin to question who is truly being hunted.

4. Siren x Siren Hunter:

A rage-filled siren drags a wounded hunter from the wreckage of his own trap. The hunter arrived to kill the creature that has haunted these waters for years. but instead finds himself alive, bound by the very monster he pursued. Rather than ending him, the siren keeps him close, intrigued by his defiance and the strange pull between hunger and restraint. As the sea grows more dangerous, rival hunters close in, and the siren’s own hunger threatens to consume everything, the two are forced into a fragile alliance. The hunter must decide whether to escape, kill, or understand the creature keeping him alive, while the siren must confront whether what’s growing between them is stronger than his hunger and rage.

5. Assassin × Assassin:

Two assassins are contracted to eliminate each other after completing conflicting assignments that threaten powerful clients. Neither expected the other to be competent, but both are. Their encounters begin as near-misses, then escalate into direct confrontations that leave them both injured but alive. As they continue crossing paths, they begin to realize someone is manipulating them, keeping them locked in a cycle of attempted killings without a clear end.

6. Spy x Target:

A spy is assigned to watch a target who seems unaware of being observed, but the target notices more than they should and begins to quietly shape every encounter between them. What starts as surveillance becomes a slow, unspoken game of awareness and control, where the spy realizes they are not the only one watching, and the target may have been waiting for them all along. As the distance between them narrows, the mission begins to blur into something far more dangerous, something that feels like trust, and maybe something closer to love than either of them intended.
