This is my first RT, so I'll try to make it the best I can do! Alright. You can call me Riyan or Ri, I go by she/her pronouns, and I have a couple years of roleplaying under my belt. I love coming up with fleshed out stories, and I have a love for bouncing ideas off of other people
About Me as a Writer.
First off, I do not like smut centered roleplays. This might be a deal-breaker for some people, but I don't think I'm as great of a smut writer as I am other things. If we do smut during our roleplay, don't expect it to be the next best seller. My smut writing needs some work, but it isn't off the table.
I love love LOVE plotting. I love fleshing out worlds and getting right into backstories and discussions and all things that has to do with our characters. I have a few babies close to my heart, but I am very picky with who I roleplay them with and what storylines I use them with, so most of the time I'd be creating a character just for our roleplay and ours alone.
I stick by the stance of Quality > Quantity, but when I get writing I can write paragraph after paragraph. I usually like to match my partner's response though. I don't do one-liners, I get rather bored of them quickly.
I love a darker story, as well as world-building and putting my characters through every twist and turn life has to offer. Not everything is handed to you, and sometimes things don't work out. I am trying to work on slowing things down, and actually letting my characters experience pain and hardships longer than just a moment.
As far as pairings go, I don't mind what pairing we do. Whether that be MxM, MxF, or FxF, I am up for it all.
Limitations
While I do like "dark" themes, there are some things that I won't touch, or do not want to write about. I understand some people have triggers, and I'll always respect them when it comes to writing because I wan't my partner to feel comfortable and have fun writing with me. I don't like writing for shock value, and I don't like it when a roleplay is just putting a character through hell one event after another with no pick-me-up in the slightest. I like to write certain things in moderation.
Availability and what I'm looking for in a partner:
I am in the Eastern Timezone. I am also a full time college student, but seeing how the world is right now I'll have quite a bit of time off after exam week.
I don't expect a reply every day, hell - I probably won't even respond every day, so don't worry about needing to respond immediately. Be patient with me and I'll be equally patient with you. Please don't nag me to respond every day or multiple times a day, I also have various mental health issues and some days are worse than others.
I don't much care about misspellings or grammar, but it would be helpful. I'm aware not everyone's first language is English so I'd never be a stickler for that kind of thing.
I think I'm a very friendly person and easily accessible and flexable, so even if we aren't roleplaying feel free to message me to talk plots or OOC talk!
What I'm looking for in a partner is someone that will challenge me to better my writing, and someone who I can write a great story with. I'm looking for someone that not only pushes me, but I can also push back and we both can gain something from this partnership while making friends along the way. I'm looking for someone who will also have equal amounts of ideas and not just follow my lead, and just wants to have fun as well. Roleplaying is fun! Lets not lose that along the way.
Genres:
Fantasy. (& Dark fantasy)
Horror.
Historical.
Sci-Fi.
Supernatual.
Post Apocolyptic.

I like slice of life and college/university plots in moderation, meaning I only do a couple of them periodically. I don't like flower shop or coffee shop plots, but if you make it interesting enough I may consider.
Fandoms:
I also like to do fandom style roleplays, which you can also mix and match with different genres!
The Vampire Diaries
Teen Wolf
Twilight
The 100
Pretty Little Liars
Fandoms I'm not really looking for:
Anime, video games, etc.

These are things I will do, but sometimes I might not feel comfortable doing at times. These are subject to change, but I have to be highly convinced to include them into the storyline.
- Vore.
- Pregnancy.
- Extreme & Hard Kinks. I'm not one to kink shame, or to shame someone on what they're into, so if you have ideas you want to bounce off me for making our character's sex life more interesting please don't be shy!
- Non-con / Dub-con. All sexual content must be consensual.
- Sexual abuse / Sexual torture.
- Incestuous storylines.
- Master/Slave outside of the bedroom.
- Hostage/Kidnapper or Stockholm Syndrome situations.
- Doctor/Patient & Teacher/Student type storylines.
- Anything that has to do with piss/scat/vomit.
- Necrophilia
- Age regressing.
