Hey guys.
So, I've recently been craving non-romantic campaigns in a Fantasy world. I'm playing a lot of Oblivion/Morrowind recently, and it would be cool to take my character from the game and write a story about them with other people. (Don't worry! You don't need to know anything about the games!) We'll just treat it like an average Fantasy world, where I'll supply the names of the places in the ''DM'ing'' part of my post (telling the scene, the history, why our characters are here), and the rest will just be us enjoying it as if it were any other campaign.
The character I have in mind for this is an Imperial Mercenary named Farrow. He is a Witchhunter, a fairly sensitive soul who's struggled with relationships in the past. He's naturally distrustful of people, tends to treat them at a distance, but is very good at bargaining; so if your character is an alchemist's daughter who needs to go with him on one of his quests to collect reagents, surprising him with her combat skills, or is a humble slave who was captured by some racist Dark Elves, who he ends up escorting back to the Imperial City, she may notice there's quite a lot of depth in him that deserves exploring. They then might decide to continue their adventures together!
If you have an idea for this plot, feel free to reach out. There will be no explicit sex in these campaigns, or if there is it will be fade to black. But this does not however mean there won't be adult themes. Sexual tension is absolutely fine! Having aspects of the world that are 18+ is normal. Describing your character sexually to tease and/or manipulate Farrow is also permissible. I simply don't want the role-play to devolve into a relationship-struggle. I want the story to be told through other aspects of the world. (Like assassins trying to succeed the Imperial Crown. Like prophecies and chosen ones and black dragons swooping down on villages. I want US to focus on THAT, so that our internal struggles are not just based on a love triangle.)
If this sounds cool to you, and not much of a blow-up, aha, I'd love to have a chat. Like this post or send me a message and I'll get back to you.
Cheers! (And here's to cool Fantasy adventures, sleeping rough under the stars! :D)
