GONNA BE ON IT TIL IT RUSTS​

→ f-list. Please look at it. Sometimes people send me really long thought out ideas but they're based on a kink that I hate and I think we both come away feeling bad after that exchange is over.
→ WHAT I SEEK: I'm looking for a literate partner who can spell properly, understands grammar, and can give me enough to work with. Preferably someone who can write at least two paragraphs or more, because I think it's important to be able to put enough detail into the posts.
→ OTHER: Please know that I may not be able to post every day. I don't care about my writing partner's gender, but I'm only looking for people who write as male characters. I absolutely love a faceclaim - actors are great or non-anime art depending on what works best for the story. I have a handful of faceclaims I'd be thrilled if you used if we're using actors, but I'm never going to insist upon a specific FC.

I'm rolling around a handful of ideas, please feel to pitch your own. I think there's room for both fully human looking androids and for ones that are more openly robotic (I like kissin' but there's not not appeal in a faceplate), it really depends on the story and what we want out of it.

Some ideas:
☀ a mechanic/scavenger rebuilds an abandoned android

→  he (it?) could be an old combat android or an outdated companion bot, it doesn't matter to her. She's looking for someone to help her with her work and as long as she can get him up and running he'll do just fine no matter what his original purpose was. ​

☀ an android and a human on a long-term exploratory space mission

→ one human, one android, and the never-ending emptiness of space. And, hopefully, an eventual planet that will be useful to humanity. Maybe he's been on things like this before, maybe it's both their first one, I think there's a lot of room for flexibility. I want to play with loneliness a little bit.​

☀ human and android guardian in an apocalyptic future

→ maybe a virus wiped out most of humanity, maybe it was nuclear war, maybe it was something else. do want this to be many, many years later though. While she's got no concept of the Time Before, he could very well have been deactivated that long ago and still hold those memories, if you want. Or he could be some sort of guard in the society she lives an/owned by her father and sent along when she decides she simply has to go out and explore
→ I haven't actually seen or played Fallout but based on what I've absorbed from the cultural zeitgeist that's more or less what I've been envisioning for the environment? But I'd also love something with a big 'nature has overtaken civilization' design. Love big plants growing in and around crumbling city buildings.
→ I've started working on a specific post world war idea that merges this with the first pairing.​

☀ a human civilian and a war droid

→ still working on the specifics of this. Maybe during current violence, maybe he's been repurposed as a guard or support for terraforming settlers and is trying to handle the change in scenery and duties?​

☀ an eccentric inventor and the first "true AI" android

→ oops, someone didn't consider the long term ramifications of their passion project! Now she's in charge of an ethical dilemma.​

☀ like a knight and princess thing but it's sci-fi

→ I want castles and balls and class inequality in a very standard low fantasy way, but robots and probably space ships.​

☀ beginning to roll around ideas about the wild west
☀ something based on the Murderbot Diaries

→ who decided an overprotective, paranoid violence machine should have anxiety and why was it a direct attack on me and my interests? I'm not looking to actually use any of the characters, just to intentionally build based on the overarching setting​

☀ a street rat and an android who's essentially a dockworker/some other manual labor job

→ he's got a simple, routine job. No mess, no stress, just the same thing day in and day out. She's absolutely ruining all of that. Looking for her to be 18 or 19 and just consistently in over her head as she tries to survive.​

☀ scientist and protector droid

→ it doesn't seem like what she's doing should require a protective android, but she's been insistent and there's a level of paranoia she's dealing with that seems to imply there's more going on than she wants to say. Some good old fashioned space corporation sabotage to cover something up or get their hands on something she wants released to the public?​

☀ suggest!

→ nothing where sex is an expected part of the interaction from the start - he could have been built as a companion droid for that purpose in a story where that's not her intended purpose for him, though.​
