Please let me take this opportunity to say it's great to be back and Im looking forward to writing with all of you again! First, a bit about myself...
I've been writing on and off for almost 15 years now and really enjoy a nice, juicey plot with twists and turns and a partner who can surprise me with where they take the story. Make it violent, dark, with intricate storylines and character development, and with enough smut to keep it interesting. Currently, my availability is to be able to post once or twice a day but I will try and make it more. I tend to mirror my partner as far a length goes. The more you give me, the more I can give back! Now...to the plot..
Hangman's Barrow was the smallest, quietest little villiage you could ever imagine. Tucked into a small valley butting up against the Southern Mountains, visitors were rare save for every few years when the boarder posts changed shifts and a few dozen shoulders would ride through on their way in and out. The people here ruled themselves, and they liked it that way. MC, a young blacksmiths apprentice longs for a life of adventure like any other man in his early 20's, but has struggled to leave. With his mother dead, the honorable thing to do is to stay and help his father run the forge. Nothing interesting ever happened in the Barrow...but that was about to change. A darkness is coming from the other side of the forbidden mountains...and his life will mever be the same.
