Say hi to this medium to low effort thread while I try to figure out basic code. (Crumbling under 0 pressure.) The most important thing is that I'm craving some horror, and more specifically, some Silent Hill 2.
I'm especiallyyyyy looking to play an original character against James Sunderland, and! I'm absolutely down to double, whether that's another SH character orrrr someone from a different fandom! Yay! I'm pretty basic in my preferences. Quality writing, proper boundaries and fair communication, what more could I ask of you? Everyone has their different standards of what constitutes quality writing, I get that, so! Please see some very brief snippets of mine

I have a couple plot concepts, and I'd still love to workshop new ones. One would be placed after the events of SH2, an alternate (or extended?) ending where James is incarcerated for the murder of Mary, and receives some
very mandatory psychiatric services. Prepare for HIPAA violations and medical malpractice, yay! Of course, Silent Hill is big on psychological horror, and I'm especially interested in exploring James' dissociative and delusional nature... I just love that in a guy. I'd also be down to explore the dynamic between James and a morbidly curious therapist (or journalist???) in a separate plot that doesn't involve his incarceration, because I understand that the confined setting of a psych ward or prison can be... well, yeah, confining.
Alternatively, in a story that would take place before the events of the game, and perhaps leading
into them, I'd love to write a plot involving James and 'the other woman', so to speak. My first thought was a sex worker. I imagine a sense of guilt around the dubious concept of 'consent' that comes with paying someone for sex, and facing the fact that he's still not getting the intimacy he craves because it's ultimately a transaction. On top of the whole
cheating on his sick wife thing, I'm sure that weighs on the soul... but also, I'd also be interested in a different route, maybe involving someone who was close to both him and Mary rather than a sex worker. Finding comfort in the familiar and all that.
The latter has the potential to be a bit more sexually driven for obvious reasons, whereas I see the former as more... freak nasty psychosexual slowburn, what can I say? But either way it goes, I have to say that I'm not the biggest fan of gratuitous smut. Yes, kinks can be fun to write! And smut does have its place in these stories, for sure! But for me, it has to mean something, to have a point. And I reiterate... boundaries! Please do not tell me you're using it to get your nut off, I don't wanna knowwwwwughhh 😭 passionate plotting and headcanoning is super great, but that's a whole different game.
