While I will attempt to keep this short and simple so as to avoid overwhelming you visually, I can't quite promise that. I'll do my best to chop it into sections so that it's a little easier to digest.

I. Patience Policy
I know that a lot of folk likely claim this, but I really am patient. I will wait any length of time for a story to resume, as I understand the myriad of reasons one might need to pause (or even stop) writing. Sometimes we just don't have the mental energy to churn out a piece that we'd feel happy with, and that's okay! We've all been there. Likewise, sometimes we have the energy to chatter OOC and share ideas, but not necessarily write; and that's okay too, of course. I don't expect replies, and there is never any deadline. This is a hobby and not homework after all. Please don't be afraid to pop back into my inbox even if months have passed. I'll always welcome you!
II. Post length
I'm an avid believer of writing until one is content. While mirroring a writing partner's post length can be fun on occasion, I really encourage you to simply write until you're content with the piece rather than striving to achieve a specific amount. I would much rather a piece that you're happy with, that still actively advances the scene and provides ample content to reply to, than for you to try and squeeze out more words. I often get carried away, and don't wish for my partners to feel that they have to match this length every time. I'm just happy with a piece that you're also happy with!

**Please note that the below prompt infers a BDSM relationship, but this can be twisted numerous ways and leave out such a theme!! Please read through to catch the general vibe I'm looking for, and refer to the other possible options if BDSM does not interest you!
Angst? Give it to me. This is a bit of a twist on a fake-dating/dare trope, but please bear with me.
My character (MC) has recently moved into the city. He's an affluent man (maybe even a CEO of a renowned business), that has spent his life dedicated to his career. He has no romantic partner, little family, and no personal relationships besides a single best friend. He has never had any interest in romantic connection, believing it to be chaotic, a dangerous lack of control, and a weakness. Instead, he frequented a high-end BDSM club and intermittently held a contract with a sub (he'd had several over the years). He was known to participate in both private and public BDSM play within the club, and often attended parties/events. Selective, he very rarely engaged with those that were not his subs, despite garnering the interest of many others.
After moving to the new city, he's found himself feeling oddly lonely for the first time in his life. It's on a phone call, that his best friend suggests that he attends the renowned BDSM club of this new city and just "give it a go". Resistive, at first, MC would think that it's a bad idea since his last contract with his sub ended terribly. Eventually, he's persuaded to simply attend and reassured that he doesn't have to commit to anything. He's also urged to try things he otherwise wouldn't and give everything at least one chance.
So, he attends the new city's BDSM club and it just so happens to be the night of a party. He gets in, lingers on the peripheries and considers leaving.
Your character (YC), another Dom, frequents said new city's BDSM club (could even own it). Maybe he doesn't have a sub because he's not interested in having that kind of relationship. Maybe he prefers selecting one for a single scene, but never forming anything beyond that. It's up to you! But YC's friend recognises MC as a Dom he'd once seen perform public play with a sub back in the old city, and dares YC to get MC to agree to a scene/hookup. Obviously, the dare is supposed to fail and it's all meant to be a bit of a prank, so it's a bit of a surprise when MC agrees to engage with YC in a scene on one condition. The next time they meet, it'll be YC tied up in the ropes (either literally or metaphorically, kink dependent).
(Note: I'm a huge sucker for taking a Dom top character and putting him in a position where he allows himself to be vulnerable and engage in sex in a manner he wouldn't usually, only to learn that he loves it. The ability to switch (switching in the middle of sex, even) is so wonderful to explore and so hot to write.)
Really, I just want to write two dominant personalities who learn to be vulnerable with one another while exploring all angles of hot, kinky sex.
I love that this would essentially be two men with dominant personalities and needs trying to find power over the other, initially. However, I'd love for them to find mutual respect and a far deeper connection that blooms into romance; even if it's initially denied. I want these two to have eyes for only each other, despite how their dynamic "shouldn't work".
For angst purposes, we could include things like:
If you're not into BDSM, this is totally fine! It can be spun many ways (in keeping with site rules):
I. In an ABO universe, these are two Alphas coming together and discovering that they have a much deeper connection with one another than they've ever experienced with an Omega; despite all odds. They have stigma and expectations to battle against.
II. It could simply be fake dating, where YC's friend knows MC's last casual sex partner and knows that he's a strict top. He dares YC to try and get him to date, knowing full well that MC doesn't date and definitely doesn't bottom. Jokes on him, because MC needs a plus one to his sister's wedding and knows he has no one else to go with him; so he accepts YC's proposal.

- One of them needs to attend a wedding and has to have a plus one, they ask the other character and this could lead to them meeting the family (aw, cute) even though it's played off as "not a big deal"
- A heated discussion over their wishes for their relationship (maybe one wants to be official, while the other is hesitant because of #trauma)
- The two exploring kinks with each other and discussing boundaries (communication is incredibly hot)
