(All young canon characters are aged up appropriately. For example, four years ago at the start of everything, El would have been 14 and would be 18 where our story opens up. You get the idea.)

Gemini_Generated_Image_214urr214urr214u.png Lily is a young woman from 18 to 20 years old discovered four years ago wandering the woods in Hawkins with no memory of who she was or how she got there… save for just her first name… everything else, totally blank.

The good people of Hawkins were good enough to help the beautiful amnesiac young woman to get a job helping a kindly wealthy old woman who also generously allowed Lily to be a live-in helper. She said Lily reminded her of her late daughter and she enjoyed how sweet and genuinely eager to be of help the girl was.

Almost right away, Lily discovered she had the ability to see things before they happened… even things that had happened in the past, though seeing the past usually required physically touching an object or person. The most inconvenient and frustrating part… aside from the occasional distressing nature of the visions… was the fact that she appeared to have zero control over the when, where, what or why of her visions, they just seemed to happen whether she wanted them or not.

She told the old lady she cared for, Mrs. Appleson, about the visions… and surprisingly, Mrs. Appleson did not think Lily was crazy, but cautioned her about talking to anyone else but her about the visions… for fear authorities might remove Lily from her home or worse, lock the girl up in a loony bin, as those too ignorant to accept things of a mysterious nature were often to do.

Unfortunately, three years later during the earthquake (when Henry tried invading Hawkins), Mrs. Appleson suffered a heart attack induced by tremendous fear… would you know it, she willed the house and her entire fortune to Lily.

Ever since the disaster that struck Hawkins in the previous year, Lily keeps having visions about various people… always the same faces comes in brief flashes and blips… a girl in a white hospital gown with her head shaved, holding onto her hand and looking at her with such trust… a handsome young man with golden hair and sky blue eyes dressed completely in white, always a charming charismatic smile on his face that for some reason always made Lily feel afraid… and it’s only just begun, the visions are going to get so much worse…

Next she knows, an eighteen year old young man by the name of Will Bryers shows up on her doorstep to warn her that she is great danger… that HE is coming for her…

Basically my idea is that Lily is a precognitive and clairvoyant psychic that had been brought to the facility around the same time that Henry/One/Vecna had been. She was never assigned a number due to the extent of her powers seeming to be visions of the past and future that were extremely unpredictable. Her visions however, did make her far too valuable to give her up.

Henry who has never felt any kind of emotional connection to anyone before in all his life, found himself instantly smitten with the raven haired girl, something that only increased to a passionate (though restrained) obsession… one that Lily did not reciprocate, the opposite really, she found him unsettling… something about his easy smile and the empty depths of his eyes… she pretty much avoided him as much as she could when she wasn’t on the clock helping Dr. Brenner by caring for the kids.

She had been close to Eleven and treated her like a little sister… though she’d admit frustration that Eleven didn’t quite believe her about there being something weird about the man they all knew as Peter Ballard.

Fast forward a bit, Lily got in the middle of the fight between Henry and Eleven. In the scuffle, Lily was thrown to the floor (Henry was going to abduct her after dealing with or convincing Eleven), Lily hit her head hard enough to cause memory loss and a dormant power activated when her subconscious sensed danger to herself… and she teleported… where she woke up in the woods, with no memory or anything that happened or how she came to be there.

Now though, Henry weakened and hurt in the upside down, has drawn weak minded but talented witches to his service, forming a cult of sorts… he is manipulating them into performing profane rituals to add to his strength, expediting his healing and helping him emerge into Hawkins, completely whole again.

He has a score to settle with a certain group, but first… he can feel a familiar presence in Hawkins… Lily or rather, Liliana Sinclare, is about to discover that she will never be free of him… never…
