I'll keep this introduction as short and sweet as possible! Hello everyone, I'm Sycamore.

  • I've been roleplaying for nearly ten years, and I consider myself an Literate, 3rd-person Novella roleplayer.
  • I'm fine with smut, but it isn't my main focus. I'm heavily story-oriented in that regard. I'd prefer if smut were kept to a minimum at the moment, however romance is a must for me! PLEASE don't approach me with a list of your kinks in your first message. That makes it seem like you're only looking for smut, and I'll leave the conversation immediately if that's the case!
  • I typically write around 500 words as a minimum, but I generally prefer to go over a thousand per response- and I'm looking for a partner to do the same! 4+ paragraphs is my comfort zone. Responses on the shorter end are fine, but matching length is important to me. With this in mind, I don't expect immediate response or rapid-fire roleplaying. If you can only post around two or three meaty paragraphs as we get further along, that's fine, too, and I will mirror your effort!
  • I mostly play female characters, but I can introduce side-characters of any gender to be used sparingly. I'm best using only one main character per RP.
  • I exclusively play original characters. I'm fine with both OC x OC and OC x Canon scenarios.
  • I'm able to reply multiple times a day to a few times a week depending on the length of posts and my interest level. Roleplaying is a pastime for me, and as such I treat it casually; it isn't a reflection on you if this happens, though! My muse is a fickle thing, and sometimes it's hard to kick myself into gear. Turns out I have serious executive dysfunction issues, which honestly explains a lot- in any case, if I stop responding or disappear altogether, it's not on you or the quality of our story! I get very embarrassed about being unable to write (sometimes it feels like a brick wall has popped up between me and the thing i want to do), and this leads me to going quiet. That said, I also have a terrible memory, so frequent bumps and reminders are appreciated if I do fall off the face of the earth! I do try my best not to ghost, so know that, when I have the ability to do so again, I will get back to it!
  • Proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation are important! If I can't understand what's being written, how am I supposed to respond? I'm not going to fault you for the occasional mistake- I'm no saint, I know I've made my fair share- but your writing has to be legible at the very least and punctuated properly.
  • I'm not looking to double, sorry.

Currently craving some TADC!
My main idea here is that, seeing how miserable the humans are, Caine gives each member of the circus a custom NPC companion! Pomni gets Gummigoo, complete with memories, and everyone else gets a character that Caine thinks they'd bond with- platonically or otherwise.

Angst and fluff are the name of the game here, but smut is also on the table, depending on the characters in play. I'm mostly looking to stick to one main character each, with us taking up a couple of the other members as side-characters, so we can really hone in on the experiences of our mains!

Now, this idea also has a bonus bit of angst we can throw in, if we really want things to get seedy: Caine is using the NPCs as informants/data-collectors to figure out how to make his adventures more appealing! The NPCs slowly realize how fucked up it is to get the humans to be vulnerable with them, just to report it back to Caine- but if the humans find out, it's still a potential rift that can grow between them! Or, if you'd rather we just stick to the basic angst of "you're not actually real/interested in me, because you were programmed to be this way," that's also a very fun option.

Was this idea entirely spawned because of episode 4 giving me a new love for Jax? Maybe. Is that going to stop me from shamelessly posting it here? Absolutely not.

I'd prefer to play the NPC, but I can also do Ragatha and/or Gangle! I could also do Pomni, but I'll only play her as a main if we're pairing her with Gummigoo. My main hope is for some Jax x NPC dynamics, but I'll take any character here.

I'd like to work together to figure out what the main NPC will be like, though! That way, we can tailor them to fit the way you play your character!

Past Cravings

The basic idea is a fairytale princess ends up in completely different universe. Think Belle in Fallout or Snow White in Cyberpunk. A complete switch in environment, one that's as dangerous as it is intriguing. Cinderella in superhero comics or Rapunzel in a slasher movie-type vibes! Anything goes, so bring me your fandoms and we can discuss! I'll play just about any princess, but the damsel-y-er, the better! They'll go through plenty of trauma character development, so don't worry about whatever gal I play remaining so one-dimensional.

I can play any princess here (or an OC, if we want to take that route), so tell me who you'd like! I've got headcanons for all the major classics that I'd be more than happy to share in DMs! You can also bring any character to the table, so if you're wanting to play a specific canon character from a specific setting, hit me with it! I don't have to know the fandom for this to work; fandom wikis exist for a reason!

Anything from slashers to sci-fi are on the table. The only thing I'd like to avoid is sending the princess to a world that's similar to her one of origin. Gritty fantasy is acceptable, but another sort of storybook world wouldn't quite work for what I have in mind.

On top of the character development, existential crises, and general chaos that this idea will bring, I'm also looking for a bit of romance! So feel free to tell me who you'd like to play as a romantic option (and any other characters you'd like to play, if you're wanting to play multiple).

All characters will be 18+, no exceptions! All fandoms that typically take place in schools will instead focus on the non-school life on the aged-up characters!
