Howdy, my name is Suz (they/them), and I've been writing on and off for several years. I like to write soft romance stories as well as world building for my homebrew d&d world. I'm mostly looking to write a romance story with some sexual tension, but if the vibes are right then I would love to try writing some smut.
My writing schedule is all over the place as I do work full time with open availability. I plan to update my writing partner about when I can reply.
My replies typically range between 2-3 paragraphs on the low end, (dialogue, quick paced rp) and at least 4 on the higher end. (exposition, descriptions, etc.)
My gore and violence tolerance is high! I always love a well-described scene. The nature of this RP isn't extreme an any capacity, though.
I do write smut once in a blue moon. I'm open to most things, but I have a strict limit on non-con/rape, dubious consent, inflicting injury, and scat. As for things I do like, I love sexual tension, enthusiastic consent, light bondage, bdsm dynamics, power play, intimacy of all kinds, and a variety of different pairings.
I do write for fandoms on my AO3 account! I prefer content with original characters, AUs, and settings on this site however.
The main itch I'm looking to scratch is for a Mermaid x Pirate romance, where the pirate has washed up on an island in a magical Archipelago. A lone visitor of the water brings the unnamed pirate gifts, be it out of generosity or affection. The caregiving mermaid does not speak their tongue, but with the right kind of communication, the pirate has the opportunity to make a once-in-a-lifetime connection.
Universe for the setting is up in the air; it could be d&d, an original setting, or even a real life historical-fiction setting of some sort.
As for plot, a romantic story featuring self discovery and adventure across the Archipelago is what I'm looking for. All other ideas welcome!
My character is a mermaid by the name of Lorei. She is a collector of knicknacks from sunken ships and seashells, wearing primarily handmade jewelry from said items. She embodies the color pink, from her flowing curls of hair, striking coral-colored eyes, and her tail with the frills of a lionfish. She has espresso skin and a whimsical desire to learn more about humans.
