(I have never done a group RP on a forum, if someone interested in this scene has some advice and wants to pm me I'd appreciate it).
Gauging interest in people wanting to play in the following scenario:
Brightwood Manor is a pleasant place. Set a hundred miles from the nearest town high in the mountains, the air is calm and peaceful and it offers plenty of views of the surrounding mountains and forested valleys.
The grounds are all well maintained lawns of monoculture grass and flower beds of roses, tulips, and even several green houses for more exotic plants. Some of those plants are even used in the cutting edge research at the manor.
The manor is surrounded by a 12 foot wall with electrified barbed wire on top, and each section of the grounds is divided by a barbed wire fence just as high. The manor provides a quiet research place for doctors and scientists and occultists who have come to believe that they can claim dominion over the human mind. A variety of mentally ill patients who are unwanted by society work their way into the manor, never to emerge. The manor also serves a function for wealthy patrons: discarding unwanted heirs or unruly relatives who might cause a scandal. In return those patrons get first access to any breakthroughs from the labs.
The manor has a sub basement and a basement. The sub basement is used for the darker experiments, and the basement is used for more "standard" elecrro therapy and lobotomies. The first floor has some common rooms and reception. The second floor has housing for the perfectly healthy subjects sent there to dissappear without any maladies simply because a wealthy parent, husband or sibling needs them gone. The third floor has the unwell subjects, ranging from the comatose to the psychotic killers. The fourth floor os used for survivors of ongoing experiments. The fifth contains any experimental subjects that need to be totally isolated.
The grounds are divided into low and high security patient lawns, and a third garden for staff. A separate building provides housing for staff, with an armory for the guards. There are three green houses, two for growing normal exotic plants and a third for experimental plants. The staff building also houses the offices and libraries of the doctors, so they don't need to be bothered by the patients.
One day an experiment has gone wrong and all power throughout the manor is lost, but more terrifying all of the electronic locks have failed, freeing all of the worst subjects to rampage through the facility. Surviving patients and staff need to try to find safety while the more monstrous patients seek blood.
