The Blind Tiger is an establishment that has stood for nearly four years. Once a lounge, now a speakeasy, this beautiful building is run by Thomas Cormick and his band of misfits. The year is 1925, in urban America, five years after the start of Prohibition. Thomas, after realizing the sheer amount of money he could make illegally making, selling, and running liquor, converted his lounge into a private and secret bar. Once that was done, he began hiring people he thought he could trust. Now, years later and with varying degrees of success, The Blind Tiger has become a place of notoriety.

Hello all, Elixir here. This group RP is set in 1920's America and centered around The Blind Tiger, a speakeasy that functions as a lounge during the day and an illegal bar at night. The bar is run by Thomas Cormick (MC) with his merry band of employees, friends, and confidantes (YCs). Oh, also, everyone in this universe has superpowers. That's important. This isn't your everyday, run of the mill Slice of Life story.

No no, this is a story fraught with danger, avoiding the super-powered government, fighting back against gangs that want a cut of your profits, running illegal liquor to other bars for extra money, and perhaps even falling in dangerous love with a fellow employee or patron. Truly anything might happen at The Blind Tiger, and only time will tell if this group of…well, not heroes, will make it through to the other side or if they'll end up imprisoned…or worse.

What we're looking for.

2 players to play a either a male or female (or non-binary, we love everyone) character. I don't care about your actual IRL sex or gender, that doesn't matter.

At least 500-1000 words per post, this is a group of insanely talented writers, so you'll need to be able to keep up. We expect excellent internal and external character development, as well as an eye for details in other people's posts. Mainly just pay attention, react to what the other people in the story are doing, and be willing to explore your own character's inner world as well.

Don't be a hero. What I mean by that is that this is a collaborative effort. No one single one of us is going to go out and end Prohibition or stop the government or anything like that. This is a group of people simply trying to survive with their way of life. We're not gods, we're pals that run a bar.

Finally, obey the posting order. Everyone gets a turn to post, and you have to be willing to be patient. Group RPs are slow, take a lot of work and time, and a lot of excellent OOC communication to ensure the plot goes fairly and equally for everyone involved.
