- Your gender is unimportant to me, as long as you're playing a male lead character.
- I am 30 years old and I am looking for someone around my age, but in case you think we'd be a great fit, we'll be cool as long as you're 21+.
- My activity varies - daily or every few days, once a week or once every two weeks, it usually depends on my shift and my fiance, as he is always my priority and we spend a lot of quality time together.
- This is my writing sample. I prioritize quality over quantity. I am a big description and detail slut, so don't be greedy with juicy posts that gives my imagination a lot of food and visuals. Send me your writing sample! My average post has multiple paragraphs (5-6, sometimes shorter if we have some back and forth scenes like conversations or action) and some of my posts can be novella length. I only write with people who can give me similar effort.
- I love smut, but I am not interested in it without character dynamics and good story and I don't like it when plots become porngraphic. If you just want some easy smut, please leave me alone. I want drama and fun content outside of smut.
- I really make an effort in making my introduction posts, so if you're interested in writing with me, please make an introduction that would reflect you as a writer. I don't respond to messages that don't give me information about them immediately. First impressions matter, I didn't go through this effort on giving a clear reflection of what I'm looking for just to get some lukewarm messages.
- I love realistic faceclaims, be it real life references or realistic art. I am not into animanga character references whatsoever, and frankly it does not suit the aesthetic I am going for. You can just give the description of your character, but I love images, because I may imagine your character looking differently from what you envisioned unintentionally.
- I love open communication. I wanna brainstorm with you, I wanna hear all of your ideas. Don't be shy, share everything with me. Feed my inspiration.
- Kinks are never the same with me, because each character of mine has different kinks, as well as types of men they'd be interested in. My characters are not a reflection of me and they have different tastes and desires.
I love me some low medieval fantasy plots with a lot of political intrigue and complex character dynamics. I used to love Game of Thrones (earlier seasons) and also the Vikings TV show, and as I was watching some youtube videos analyzing some characters and plots, I had this itch for a plot I had come up with a long time ago and I would like to find someone to write this plot with.
If you're someone who loves a complicated, slowburn romance with a hint of enemy to lovers type of archetype, with a bit of mysticism and low fantasy aspects, this might be for you! I like plot heavy stories with good build up and character development, and this story is highly focused on build up so keep this in mind. It's not your classic "they meet and they wanna engage" type of roleplay.
The plot
The painfully oversimplified TLDR without much context is - a viking king had conquered a kingdom, killed the king and took everything from the kingdom as his prize, including the queen as one of his many concubines. Enemies to lovers, two complete differences between characters in culture, appearance and status, etc.
But the devil is in the details, as they say.
The viking king is a well known and feared ruler from the northern continent. Ever since he came to the rule, he wanted to expand the territory and spread their rule and lifestyle in places beyond the north. While he is feared, he is a dangerously intelligent man who weighs his options carefully. He will never attack at first, only when the other rulers are very uncooperative and prejudiced against his people, the "barbarians".
Our roleplay can take place even before the war starts where he meets my character's husband as they're trying to come to some agreements, but the king ends up betraying your character for one reason or another. To make matters worse, maybe my character's husband wanted to respect the agreement, but something else forced him to betray the viking king and your character deemed it enough to start a war over it.
And my character's kingdom loses in this conquest, the territory of this quaint kingdom in southwest officially under the Viking rule. MC watched YC kill her husband and that's where this conflicting dynamic starts. YC decides to take her as his concubine, along with many other women.
But MC despises him. She does not want to do anything for him, simply is forced to be in his presence, obey some of the orders, but YC has enough respect not to force her into bed with him or demand anything overtly humiliating or objectifying. It's enough he took away all her finery, her title and her life.
She does not get the lovely treatment from him because she doesn't deserve it like other concubines do, but he is interested enough in her to have her around and learn more about her. She is not wearing pretty clothes, sometimes is treated as a servant, in his small ways he wants to test her. But MC does not relent.
I have A LOT of ideas for this. Maybe how MC cleverly works around with the rest of the Viking people and wins their favor, while doing the bare minimum for the king. How she might remind them all of a certain figure from their religion/myth. The way they learn about each other's cultures as they make small steps in getting closer to each other. She catches on that there's someone in YC's circle is trying to betray him and becomes the main instrument in preventing a disaster to happen despite never allowing YC that she hates him, etc.
