Aura
Due to one of Mercy's magic, she has a constant aura that seems enticing, it almost seems dangerous but like you just want to be closer and closer to her. It's an almost addictive thing. If was one was to look into her eyes one would see just how dangerous it could be but by then it's almost too late, one would feel a strong pull to talk or be near her. It's very mild when she is not intentionally doing it only weak-minded will be easily drawn to it.
Appearance
Mercy's appearance is always subject to change due to her Illusionist magic to keep her looking 'perfect' and 'without flaw or blemish'. Though most of the time her image is a beautiful thin lass with a bit of muscle tone to show for all her days as a pirate. She is rather short for her race, standing at only 5'3. Her hair is pure white and falls in curls around her head, something rare to see which seemingly draws a lot of attention her way, both negative and positive. Her eyes are a brilliant golden color, more of an oddity than a rarety which is why most of the time when she goes out in public she wears a hood to keep her eyes hidden.
Personality
Unlike others in her family, Mercy finds herself as being very patient and kind. Though much like a mirror reflexes a person's image she will reflex one's attitude when speaking with her. If someone gives off asshole vibes then she will return them back in response, though if someone is nice and charming she will tend to be nice and charming as well. Though on rare occasions she is known to just give off whatever mood feels right at the time, often she has been known to be sickly sweet in the face of someone who was angry or dickish to her. She has a way with words that just seems to lure people in with or without the magic that does such anyways. While she can seem like a pushover at times she is anything but, she has a hard protective exterior, keeping her true emotions and thoughts well hidden from anyone whom she doesn't trust or wish to know how she is feeling or what she is thinking. To most she is unreadable and if she is readable it's the cause of a hidden persona made to look like she, however, the person is reading her at the time. Acting is just one of the many things she is good at but under everything she has a caring personality to those who work for, or with her. Willing to take on as much pain as possible just so those close are taken care of and not in pain. This charmer also has a hurt side, due to the death of her fiance and the many different betrays she has lived through and the torturous things she had been through she, of course, is bond to have a broken side. Tears are not something you often see from her, at least genuinely hurt tears though there are nights when those emotions get the best of her.
Magical Abilities
Magic Just Runs In The Family
Like the rest of the Nightwind family, Mercy is proficient in the manipulation of the shadows (A broader term for such is 'Shadow Magic') and Illusion Magic. Unlike the rest of her family the shadows do not cling to her body nor does she call upon them very often. Illusion Magic is constantly on her when out in public or around people. She uses the magic to hide many different things like the fact that she is actually Sin'dorei. Facial features are where the majority of her illusionist magic would be used, her right eye would have a long scar trailing down from the top of her hairline down her cheek to her chin, and that eye would normally be completely whited out and blind, along with a few other scars littered over her face here and there. With the Illusionist magic, it would make her face's complexion look absolutely flawless, not a scar or blemish anywhere, and her normal golden eyes an ice blue and the right eye seems to work just fine.
Along with those they also know how to use Telepathy rather well though it is limited by distance. Mercy can only contact someone using Telepathy if the person is marked or in the same region as her. She also has a small ability like her sisters to make a small flame on her index finger when she snaps so she can make a fire or light a cigar but that's as far as the fire will go.
A Special Type Of Magic
}Mercy has a special type of magic that she uses, its based of a siren, when in danger Mercy's eyes will turn a bright golden color and they would be damn near impossible for most people to look away from, they would become mesmerizing and the person would hear her voice, an angelic voice singing around them to the point that it would be all they could hear other than her voice as she speaks to them. They would basically be in a trace and under her control for a short time. Due to this type of power, it is normal for people to feel oddly attracted to her and or charmed in a way by her words or just her voice in general, even the air around her can be a bit addicting at times, especially during times when she is flirting. This can be unintentional for her though other times she can cause this to happen or be felt on purpose.
A Healing Type Of Magic
Mercy does have the ability to heal. This was an enchantment of a tattoo that she had done to cover up the burn of a crescent moon on her arm from her first crew. She has a tattoo on her right arm, on her wrist is a decent size crescent moon with a faded star in the middle, scattered around and below the moon are plenty of stars, some faded like the one in the middle and others vibrant as if it was fresh ink. She can only heal someone if they possess a mark from her, a singular star located on the person's wrist. She is able to track and heal said person through the mark. Though like the rest of her magic, placing the mark, or removing it comes at a painful cost. If the marked person dies then the star will fade like those that have already faded. Mercy does have the choice of taking away the pain of said marked person when placing or removing the mark. She can also take away most or, depending on the lightness of the wound/injury, all of the pain someone is feeling onto herself as a type of willing curse.

The Cursed Voice Of The Sea
After leaving her Mother and Father against their wishes to be with the man she fell in love with and join his crew, she was taught how to unlock and use her power more and more. Though as time went on and her magic was mastered more and more, they noticed that what they thought was phases from learning such magic was just getting worse and worse. After each session of testing or using any magic even to light a cigar, she would fall ill or helpless to some curse that would take hold. Living in constant pain from such a thing not only made her harden and tougher but caused her pain tolerance to go through the roof to the point where only major injuries or pains will bother her.
History
Mercy had always grown up with her father and mother, living the life as the daughter of a ship supplier was never an easy task. Her mother and father were constantly working at moving crates of supplies for ships that set on long voyages. Though she grew up loving her family and cherishing the time they had spent. As time pressed on her parents were becoming more and more in debt to keep their small business afloat and to keep the food of their own on the table. It eventually got to the point where it was desperate times for them and desperate times mean desperate measures. Maria's (Mercy's real name) Father had decided that selling her off to a noble family for an arranged marriage was the best thing to do. Though while the secrete was still being kept and the deal for her hand in marriage was being made, Maria worked very hard at supplying the ships and moving the supplies, and taking on some responsibilities with handling the money and making deals. During this time she met William, a charming, handsome Captain that had slowly won over her heart and she his. During Captain Williams's short stays ported in her hometown, she would sneak out at night to lay beneath the stars with him. They talked about their futures and everything they wanted out of life, Maria was not like the other girls he had talked with. Her view on her future was to be like him. Sailing around the sea visiting place to place and seeing new worlds and having a crew to her back. While William had always discouraged this dream in hopes she would never have to see the harshness of the world she saw as fun and adventure and spare her from becoming a hardened pirate with no morals.
William soon set out for his next voyage only to return a month later to see his beautiful supplier. Though she seemed sad and distant from him as she made the regular deals. She didn't sneak away at night like she normally did and nor did she seem excited to see him, she seemed sad instead of happy. This made me find her house and come visit her in the night, climbing to the window and entering to find out what was wrong. She explained to him everything about the deal her father had made for her hand and was to be married in three days' time. His heart shattered as she begged him to take her with him, and after a while of convincing and him explaining the hardships of this life she wanted so desperately he finally agreed to let her come. The next morning she would tell her parents that she would refuse to take the hand of a man she didn't love and that no amount of gold will ever make her happy. Angry her parents tried their best to keep her away from him but with nothing but the clothes on her back and the small satchel of things she had packed she would run off to the boat and sail away. The words of her parents haunting her afterwords. "You are no longer our daughter. Don't you dare return when you find out the hard way this isn't what you want."
Despite the pain of her own parents disowning her and banishing her to stay with the life she had chosen so quickly, she was excited, she was introduced to the crew and told not to be messed with, that she would soon take the last First Mates position once she fully knew everything. This is where she started to practice with her magics though would find out that she was cursed, and all magic she used would come at a cost, a random curse that would be placed on her for a random amount of time after she had finished using her magic for whatever she needed it for. This left her vulnerable at times to the point William worried about treason or her getting hurt due to the unpredictable nature of these curses. So she was trained well in hand-to-hand combat and how to handle herself, how to manage a command a ship. Years of sailing left her feeling proud of herself as the first mate and the captain being the love of her life. Soon he proposed and the date was set. in honor of this date, he asked her to captain the ship. To give the orders when necessary for their next trip. After being back to sea for a week they had met another ship, a rivalship. She was nervous about her ability to lead but William coaxed her on and in a rash choice to take down the enemy ship she would order them to fight to take control of their ship. William in love and wanting to support her didn't stop her. By now she had been stern enough with the crew and taught them that messing with her meant messing with their worse nightmare. On many occasions, she had made men beg for their life pleading Mercy Maria. To which she wouldn't grant them, treason or other serious crimes always the reason why she killed them. She soon got the new name, Mercy.
Traitors aboard her own ship helped triple the defenses of the captain and first mate, allowing them to be easily overtaken by the enemies she was so confident they could take on. Their ship was demolished to nothing and their own crew slaughtered in front of her each one breaking the bond she had on them. A crescent moon with one star in the middle for William and forty other stars scattered about her whole arm one by one would fade and cause the curse to worsen and worsen as she tried to heal them back to life but they were already gone. She had gotten this as an engagement gift and enchanted tattoo that covered the burn mark everyone on the crew had. A crescent moon. The stars representing the bond she had on each of the members and her soon-to-be husband. Each person who had her mark had a six-pointed star that would be placed on their wrist via magic. She was able to take away the pain and heal but for a cost. As each member was killed she took away their pain so they wouldn't suffer until it almost killed her. William finally convincing her to stop so she would live. Soon all her crew had been killed except the two traitors that had been aboard the ship. With William and Mercy being all who were left, she was tortured in front of him, her face shoved into burning ashes causing the whole left side of her face to be scared with severe burn marks. The captain of the enemy ship had carved on her face, trailing the blade of his dagger from the top of her hairline, over her eyebrow, into her eye, then down her cheek and curved around to the top of her lip. She never broke enduring all the pain, she wouldn't break until the captain placed her down next to her lover. She begged for his life for the first time she was the one begging someone to spare them. To which the captain agreed to spare one, and shot William in the throat, a slow and painful death, the man choking on his own blood would die in her arms leaving her alone... and at the mercy of this horrible captain.
For months she was used and abused, beaten daily, and used a slave, a puppet on the strings, she felt lifeless. Though finally they had to dock to get supplies and everyone would leave the ship for a night on the town. Leaving Mercy locked in the brig below. Luckily during her time out she had managed to find supplies to pick open the lock and escape, retrieving her daggers and other weapons along with the armor she had been stripped off. She had escaped the boat hunting down each man while in the capital and killing each member of the crew, saving the captain for last... Finally, when she got to him, she made sure it was a public execution, at the time she had no gun just daggers. Lowering her hood she would turn the man around and look him dead in the eyes the amount of shock and pure hatred that she saw in there causing her hand to lift with ease and quickly slit his throat. She watched him fall to the ground struggling to breathe before finally dying.
Mercy hated using magic but the only way she got out of the capital without being caught was by using magic to cloak herself in shadows and escape, leaving the city and boarding another boat hiding away as part of the crew. After five months she finally returned to the capital, in that time gaining more magic, such as her siren magic, through a deal with a warlock. How she came about getting a crew and back on her feet is to be found out through interactions with her. It would currently be about three years since this happened but the bounty would still be active.

Information On The Family
Siver 'Nightingale' Nightwind is the oldest of the three Nightwind Sisters. She's known as The Guard Dog. A fierce and unforgiving killer for those she loves or those who work for or with her. She's an Elven Vympry that is still oddly enough living. She works for a powerful man known to many as the Doctors who some assume is a Reaper, (Immortal being). Siver was made Vympry by him to up her power level so she may more efficiently run the cartel the sisters work for. She is currently in the process of being transformed into a reaper herself to better please her Master. Siver was a slave for her entire life after their father willingly allowed her to be taken by a very powerful nobleman after a failed attempt to kill him and his family. She was only five (human years). After finally escaping she spent her days bouncing from freedom to slavery, and from job to job, before finally finding her master who turned her from some petty thief to a powerful cartel leader.
Dasyra 'Viper' Nightwind is the youngest of the three Nightwind Sisters. She's known as the forgotten. A highly trained assassin that spent her whole life training for one thing. To kill their father. After watching her mother kill herself, over a horribly painful illness she had and being unable to bring her father back, Viper blames him for the death of her mother. With enchanted and rune marked swords and daggers she use to keep to herself. When Siver found out about Viper through Mercy she was hated and outcast, since Mercy followed Sivers orders Mercy had little to do with Viper keeping busy with work and many other things. Viper found a lover who ended up being on Sivers hit list, and she was ordered to be protected at all costs during the killing of Viper's lover. Though before Siver had the chance to kill him, Viper had gotten severely injured from an attack by her father and his men. She crawled miles upon miles till she got to where her lover was located only to be told to die by his hand or crawl back. So she crawled back to the nearest city where she got healed. She seemed to find for a month or two before everything slowly started sinking in that the one she loved and trusted had betrayed her, her father didn't want her, her own sisters hated her, or at least the thought they did, and her mother was dead, a gruesome thing for a child to watch, Viper turned to alcohol and drugs as a way of coping and has been using them ever since to hide any feelings she might start to feel.
Information On The Crew
Mercy's crew sails for months at a time, docking here and there to get supplies and deliver crates of goods for the cartel. The Crew ships anything from Drugs and Illegal weapons, to Slaves, and even some legal trade goods. The Crew is dressed in a long black button-up trench coat with silver buckles, a popped collar, and it has a red undertone as a symbol for the Ashborne Cartel. They wear only the finest leather and clothing materials, with black boots, and gloves. Where the broach is in the reference picture, would be a sigil pinned they use to communicate. Holding one hand over the Sigil for about five seconds means the Captain is in trouble and the Sigil would be set ablaze with dark blue and green flames. One tap means there is some trouble with parts of the crew and will be set ablaze with red flames. Two quick taps over the Sigil would cause the flames to be black meaning it is a life or death situation. Mercy is never alone, she always has two of her crew with her at all times due to the curse, if she was ever to use magic and the curse was to give her something that would cause her to be unable to protect herself in a public setting or around someone who is not among the trusted she would have them as back up.
To the public eye, they are known as Ashborne Trading Company, and while some suspect they are doing many illegal trades and hauling illegal products no one can disprove them, as they always have paperwork showing what they haul and when asked to prove it upon looking through the crates they would find nothing suspicious in them. Those that have gotten information on them and or proof have seemingly vanished before being able to tell anyone.

Cartel Information
The Ashborne Cartel is publically known as The Ashborne Trading Company. They are all a bunch of thieves and criminals. Though that seek protection and refuge seek out the Leaders, pet Siver 'Nightingale' Nightwind, who runs the cartel. A fierce and stern cartel leader with a hunger for blood. She works under the thumb of a Reaper known as The Doctor who has a reputation for being the world's best doctor that no one can seem to explain his kind of magic. Of course, his ability to do so comes at a great cost. Siver who is currently only Vympr is slowly training to be the one to take over the Cartel fully and take her spot as the reaper, collecting souls owed to the Cartel. Despite their rough reputation of being a bunch of cut-throats with stern rules and horrid consequences those that respect the ranking and leadership and work well with the other are seen as part of the family. Each member would die for the other.
The products of this 'Company' can range from Legal things such as herbs, actual medication, legal weapons, ammunition, and various other things. Though for the most part this company only ships drugs in the form of 'medical' purposes. Along with Illegal weapons, cult supplies, and many other things. Mercy runs her slave operation separate from the Cartel.

Alright! So hi! My name is Rose Thorne. I'm a literate RolePlayer who does Para to Multi Para posts. (On occasion I might do one-liners if there is just nothing but speaking going on with no real change in the environment around them. My characters are heavily used in World of Warcraft and these characters are used for a guild over there that I Co-Gm for. Siver and Viper will side characters I use for story progression as we RP along with a few others. Mercy is going to be the main character for this RP as I'm wishing to keep it more pirate / cartel-themed. I am looking for this to be a romance, but I only wish for a slow-burning romance. I know a lot of people tend to start trying for romance after a few posts in, and while in some Roleplays I think it's acceptable, it is not in this one. While she does have the Siren aura that draws men into her and entices them to flirt or be near her, not all men are affected by this, strong-willed and strong-minded characters might fight it from time to time but when it's not something that she is purposely doing, it's not as strong.
This character can be a bit of a bitch at times, she uses strong language, and there is mention of drugs, alcohol, and murder. She is not actively looking for a relationship which is why I say slow burn for any romantic interests. This character is what some might call a switch. She can be a more dominant character, though she does have a soft submissive side as well though it's a rare side for her. She can be caring to those that work for her or are close to her.
Now as for what I am looking for in a partner. I'm looking for someone who will direct the story with me. If we need to speak OOCly about the direction we wish for it to go I'm totally down for that. I do like to have some contact with the writer OOC since I expect my partner to also help direct the story in a direction and take lead from time to time. This is so I'm not trying to lead us down one path and overwrite your idea or vise versa. So this character is Bisexual, though she is -mostly- male leaning, with female characters I would have to be rather selective with though I might be willing to try. (I'm yet to do any FxF character romance stories.. so this could be interesting.) As a side note, the writer will need to be able to write at least one paragraph per post. I do understand the occasional one-liner though!

Maria's (Mercy's real name) Father had decided that selling her off to a noble family for an arranged marriage was the best thing to do. Though while the secrete was still being kept and the deal for her hand in marriage was being made, Maria worked very hard at supplying the ships and moving the supplies, and taking on some responsibilities with handling the money and making deals. During this time she met William, a charming, handsome Captain that had slowly won over her heart and she his. During Captain Williams's short stays ported in her hometown, she would sneak out at night to lay beneath the stars with him. They talked about their futures and everything they wanted out of life, Maria was not like the other girls he had talked with. Her view on her future was to be like him. Sailing around the sea visiting place to place and seeing new worlds and having a crew to her back. While William had always discouraged this dream in hopes she would never have to see the harshness of the world she saw as fun and adventure and spare her from becoming a hardened pirate with no morals.
William soon set out for his next voyage only to return a month later to see his beautiful supplier. Though she seemed sad and distant from him as she made the regular deals. She didn't sneak away at night like she normally did and nor did she seem excited to see him, she seemed sad instead of happy. This made me find her house and come visit her in the night, climbing to the window and entering to find out what was wrong. She explained to him everything about the deal her father had made for her hand and was to be married in three days' time. His heart shattered as she begged him to take her with him, and after a while of convincing and him explaining the hardships of this life she wanted so desperately he finally agreed to let her come. The next morning she would tell her parents that she would refuse to take the hand of a man she didn't love and that no amount of gold will ever make her happy. Angry her parents tried their best to keep her away from him but with nothing but the clothes on her back and the small satchel of things she had packed she would run off to the boat and sail away. The words of her parents haunting her afterwords. "You are no longer our daughter. Don't you dare return when you find out the hard way this isn't what you want."
Despite the pain of her own parents disowning her and banishing her to stay with the life she had chosen so quickly, she was excited, she was introduced to the crew and told not to be messed with, that she would soon take the last First Mates position once she fully knew everything. This is where she started to practice with her magics though would find out that she was cursed, and all magic she used would come at a cost, a random curse that would be placed on her for a random amount of time after she had finished using her magic for whatever she needed it for. This left her vulnerable at times to the point William worried about treason or her getting hurt due to the unpredictable nature of these curses. So she was trained well in hand-to-hand combat and how to handle herself, how to manage a command a ship. Years of sailing left her feeling proud of herself as the first mate and the captain being the love of her life. Soon he proposed and the date was set. in honor of this date, he asked her to captain the ship. To give the orders when necessary for their next trip. After being back to sea for a week they had met another ship, a rivalship. She was nervous about her ability to lead but William coaxed her on and in a rash choice to take down the enemy ship she would order them to fight to take control of their ship. William in love and wanting to support her didn't stop her. By now she had been stern enough with the crew and taught them that messing with her meant messing with their worse nightmare. On many occasions, she had made men beg for their life pleading Mercy Maria. To which she wouldn't grant them, treason or other serious crimes always the reason why she killed them. She soon got the new name, Mercy.
Traitors aboard her own ship helped triple the defenses of the captain and first mate, allowing them to be easily overtaken by the enemies she was so confident they could take on. Their ship was demolished to nothing and their own crew slaughtered in front of her each one breaking the bond she had on them. A crescent moon with one star in the middle for William and forty other stars scattered about her whole arm one by one would fade and cause the curse to worsen and worsen as she tried to heal them back to life but they were already gone. She had gotten this as an engagement gift and enchanted tattoo that covered the burn mark everyone on the crew had. A crescent moon. The stars representing the bond she had on each of the members and her soon-to-be husband. Each person who had her mark had a six-pointed star that would be placed on their wrist via magic. She was able to take away the pain and heal but for a cost. As each member was killed she took away their pain so they wouldn't suffer until it almost killed her. William finally convincing her to stop so she would live. Soon all her crew had been killed except the two traitors that had been aboard the ship. With William and Mercy being all who were left, she was tortured in front of him, her face shoved into burning ashes causing the whole left side of her face to be scared with severe burn marks. The captain of the enemy ship had carved on her face, trailing the blade of his dagger from the top of her hairline, over her eyebrow, into her eye, then down her cheek and curved around to the top of her lip. She never broke enduring all the pain, she wouldn't break until the captain placed her down next to her lover. She begged for his life for the first time she was the one begging someone to spare them. To which the captain agreed to spare one, and shot William in the throat, a slow and painful death, the man choking on his own blood would die in her arms leaving her alone... and at the mercy of this horrible captain.
For months she was used and abused, beaten daily, and used a slave, a puppet on the strings, she felt lifeless. Though finally they had to dock to get supplies and everyone would leave the ship for a night on the town. Leaving Mercy locked in the brig below. Luckily during her time out she had managed to find supplies to pick open the lock and escape, retrieving her daggers and other weapons along with the armor she had been stripped off. She had escaped the boat hunting down each man while in the capital and killing each member of the crew, saving the captain for last... Finally, when she got to him, she made sure it was a public execution, at the time she had no gun just daggers. Lowering her hood she would turn the man around and look him dead in the eyes the amount of shock and pure hatred that she saw in there causing her hand to lift with ease and quickly slit his throat. She watched him fall to the ground struggling to breathe before finally dying.
Mercy hated using magic but the only way she got out of the capital without being caught was by using magic to cloak herself in shadows and escape, leaving the city and boarding another boat hiding away as part of the crew. After five months she finally returned to the capital, in that time gaining more magic, such as her siren magic, through a deal with a warlock. How she came about getting a crew and back on her feet is to be found out through interactions with her. It would currently be about three years since this happened but the bounty would still be active.

Information On The Family
Siver 'Nightingale' Nightwind is the oldest of the three Nightwind Sisters. She's known as The Guard Dog. A fierce and unforgiving killer for those she loves or those who work for or with her. She's an Elven Vympry that is still oddly enough living. She works for a powerful man known to many as the Doctors who some assume is a Reaper, (Immortal being). Siver was made Vympry by him to up her power level so she may more efficiently run the cartel the sisters work for. She is currently in the process of being transformed into a reaper herself to better please her Master. Siver was a slave for her entire life after their father willingly allowed her to be taken by a very powerful nobleman after a failed attempt to kill him and his family. She was only five (human years). After finally escaping she spent her days bouncing from freedom to slavery, and from job to job, before finally finding her master who turned her from some petty thief to a powerful cartel leader.
Dasyra 'Viper' Nightwind is the youngest of the three Nightwind Sisters. She's known as the forgotten. A highly trained assassin that spent her whole life training for one thing. To kill their father. After watching her mother kill herself, over a horribly painful illness she had and being unable to bring her father back, Viper blames him for the death of her mother. With enchanted and rune marked swords and daggers she use to keep to herself. When Siver found out about Viper through Mercy she was hated and outcast, since Mercy followed Sivers orders Mercy had little to do with Viper keeping busy with work and many other things. Viper found a lover who ended up being on Sivers hit list, and she was ordered to be protected at all costs during the killing of Viper's lover. Though before Siver had the chance to kill him, Viper had gotten severely injured from an attack by her father and his men. She crawled miles upon miles till she got to where her lover was located only to be told to die by his hand or crawl back. So she crawled back to the nearest city where she got healed. She seemed to find for a month or two before everything slowly started sinking in that the one she loved and trusted had betrayed her, her father didn't want her, her own sisters hated her, or at least the thought they did, and her mother was dead, a gruesome thing for a child to watch, Viper turned to alcohol and drugs as a way of coping and has been using them ever since to hide any feelings she might start to feel.
Information On The Crew
Mercy's crew sails for months at a time, docking here and there to get supplies and deliver crates of goods for the cartel. The Crew ships anything from Drugs and Illegal weapons, to Slaves, and even some legal trade goods. The Crew is dressed in a long black button-up trench coat with silver buckles, a popped collar, and it has a red undertone as a symbol for the Ashborne Cartel. They wear only the finest leather and clothing materials, with black boots, and gloves. Where the broach is in the reference picture, would be a sigil pinned they use to communicate. Holding one hand over the Sigil for about five seconds means the Captain is in trouble and the Sigil would be set ablaze with dark blue and green flames. One tap means there is some trouble with parts of the crew and will be set ablaze with red flames. Two quick taps over the Sigil would cause the flames to be black meaning it is a life or death situation. Mercy is never alone, she always has two of her crew with her at all times due to the curse, if she was ever to use magic and the curse was to give her something that would cause her to be unable to protect herself in a public setting or around someone who is not among the trusted she would have them as back up.
To the public eye, they are known as Ashborne Trading Company, and while some suspect they are doing many illegal trades and hauling illegal products no one can disprove them, as they always have paperwork showing what they haul and when asked to prove it upon looking through the crates they would find nothing suspicious in them. Those that have gotten information on them and or proof have seemingly vanished before being able to tell anyone.
Cartel Information
The Ashborne Cartel is publically known as The Ashborne Trading Company. They are all a bunch of thieves and criminals. Though that seek protection and refuge seek out the Leaders, pet Siver 'Nightingale' Nightwind, who runs the cartel. A fierce and stern cartel leader with a hunger for blood. She works under the thumb of a Reaper known as The Doctor who has a reputation for being the world's best doctor that no one can seem to explain his kind of magic. Of course, his ability to do so comes at a great cost. Siver who is currently only Vympr is slowly training to be the one to take over the Cartel fully and take her spot as the reaper, collecting souls owed to the Cartel. Despite their rough reputation of being a bunch of cut-throats with stern rules and horrid consequences those that respect the ranking and leadership and work well with the other are seen as part of the family. Each member would die for the other.
The products of this 'Company' can range from Legal things such as herbs, actual medication, legal weapons, ammunition, and various other things. Though for the most part this company only ships drugs in the form of 'medical' purposes. Along with Illegal weapons, cult supplies, and many other things. Mercy runs her slave operation separate from the Cartel.

Alright! So hi! My name is Rose Thorne. I'm a literate RolePlayer who does Para to Multi Para posts. (On occasion I might do one-liners if there is just nothing but speaking going on with no real change in the environment around them. My characters are heavily used in World of Warcraft and these characters are used for a guild over there that I Co-Gm for. Siver and Viper will side characters I use for story progression as we RP along with a few others. Mercy is going to be the main character for this RP as I'm wishing to keep it more pirate / cartel-themed. I am looking for this to be a romance, but I only wish for a slow-burning romance. I know a lot of people tend to start trying for romance after a few posts in, and while in some Roleplays I think it's acceptable, it is not in this one. While she does have the Siren aura that draws men into her and entices them to flirt or be near her, not all men are affected by this, strong-willed and strong-minded characters might fight it from time to time but when it's not something that she is purposely doing, it's not as strong.
This character can be a bit of a bitch at times, she uses strong language, and there is mention of drugs, alcohol, and murder. She is not actively looking for a relationship which is why I say slow burn for any romantic interests. This character is what some might call a switch. She can be a more dominant character, though she does have a soft submissive side as well though it's a rare side for her. She can be caring to those that work for her or are close to her.
Now as for what I am looking for in a partner. I'm looking for someone who will direct the story with me. If we need to speak OOCly about the direction we wish for it to go I'm totally down for that. I do like to have some contact with the writer OOC since I expect my partner to also help direct the story in a direction and take lead from time to time. This is so I'm not trying to lead us down one path and overwrite your idea or vise versa. So this character is Bisexual, though she is -mostly- male leaning, with female characters I would have to be rather selective with though I might be willing to try. (I'm yet to do any FxF character romance stories.. so this could be interesting.) As a side note, the writer will need to be able to write at least one paragraph per post. I do understand the occasional one-liner though!
I have a variety of ways the characters could meet and I am also open to listening to your ideas! I would like to read about your character before we begin the RP though. I have a very detailed list of things for my character above, I don't expect anyone to write that much for one character as I have. Though learning the basics about your character, a brief history, personality, appearance, age, race, what type of magic they use... etc. Important things that I should know about your character that makes your character -your- character.
