For longer than those alive can remember, Menzoberranzan's history was whispered by trembling and frightened lips. The mere mention caused others to look over their shoulder and whisper holy sanctions of protection. Menzoberranzan, however, lies as a faded memory, a myth even to those who have never lived it's chaos. Menzoberranzan lies abandonned, forsaken by Lolth.
Yet, she gifts a Priestess, Vezrynn T'sarran, dream sendings of razings, of power. Lolth bids Vezrynn to retake the once Jewel of Lolth's web, and to remake it into a city of power once again. Vezrynn knows this is a Holy Order and a monumental task. Among her drow community in the Nether mountains, she convinces them to give her the supplies, soldiers, and slaves needed to delve into the depths and do as Lolth bids. Vezrynn is obedient, if not also power hungry. She works to set forth into the Underdark, and sends missives to her former allies, mercenaries, scholars, anyone who could be of use to her travels into the deep. A call to Arms. A request of assistance in reclaiming the vast city of Menzoberranzan in exchange for power, glory and gold.
Will they answer her call?
Campaign:
Evil characters only. Erase any misgivings that this will be a campaign that allows anything good to fester and grow. It is not Lolth's will.
This is an X-Rated campaign. Anything goes, with respect to Site rules.
My death roll table still applies here. As do my rules. Sex between characters will happen in their own threads and in the appropriate forum/threads.
If you have read this thoroughly, I do recommend reading the histories of Menzoberranzan. Though in this rendition Menzo will be "abandonned" and has fallen victim to the dusty parchment scrolls of lore and myth.
Characters will start out as level 1, will not allow homebrew, and I would greatly consider the species/race you decide upon, as racial bigotry between the people of this world will happen as a result.
Select Experience, and your Stats will be point buy.
I do require a backstory for your character, and there must be some semblance of familiarity with Vezrynn. At least as an aquiantance.
Your chosen deity does not have to be Lolth, but does require an alignment of either Neutral or Evil, as does your character.
