The year is 3028
The Military of Observing, Obtaining and Nullifying (M.O.O.N.) has hired thousands of young bodies who wish to explore the galaxy. As a lack of resources become a constantly recurring problem on colonized planets, the military was erected to send adventurers, known as Starjumpers to find new forms of life and determine if there is a sustainable form of living for new colonies to be established. Earth is now an old relic that is brought up by the most ancient of alien species, claiming they were watching the human race long before they invented their first rocket ship.
Now the galaxy is full of stations and cities. Now these days, it seems the brightest stars are really just planets packed with millions of living beings trying to make a living.
Our story begins as a newly recruited group of starjumpers. What was supposed to be an exciting prospect into Jubilon-74 (a promising planet boasting a beautiful violet sunset) has taken our group by surprise instead. In the initial moments of landing, previously undetected hostile lifeforms emerge from the ground, rushing towards the ship.
In the heat of the moment and panic of the inexperienced members, the ship takes off in a panic, leaving the new recruits behind on an unfamiliar planet. Will they survive and find a way off the planet? Will they instead discover a plethora of resources and be announced as heroic pioneers of their time? Only one way to find out, it's time to STARJUMP soldier!

Hello! I hope the initial plot intrigues you. It stays vague on a few areas of the world because it's something I want to build with those involved.
What I am looking for:
- A few people who would like to contribute towards this story on a weekly basis. Even if it's just one post a week, ideally there's enough people to keep the plot moving most of the time unless there is a serious drag that needs to be addressed.
-You don't have to be an expert at the craft! As long as you follow the idea of "yes, and" like in theater, then the story will write itself! I want people to have fun with this!
- If you have ideas you want to see come to fruition in this world, then lets do it! Like I said earlier, I want this world to be crafted by several people, not just a single GM dictating the laws of the universe and everyone else following. Want a new alien species? Post a pic and what they're like! You're from a certain planet? Tell us about it!
Possible Warnings:
- There may be moments where violence will occur. Especially as the opening scenario is placing us on a hostile planet with aliens. We can discuss what weaponry we have, but its possible that blood will be shed. If that's an uncomfortable subject, I suggest not applying since we won't be playing negotiator with every alien species.
