Picture this:
You, a princess, about to enter an arranged marriage that you don't particularly care for. Just as you're about to be wed, the father of the man you're being forced to marry attempts to kill the king and declares war on your kingdom. Your mother escorts you out of the palace while your father and his men engage in battle. You don't know how it ends.
You've never been out of the kingdom before, but you happen across a mountain hermit (hello, that's me). What happens next is up to you. Whether the hermit is there to aid you, or is simply another threat to your existence, you must decide.

Alright, cool, you read that. I like semi-para to full paragraphs for RP format, but it really just depends on the interaction between characters. You don't need to type an essay when you're just saying "hello". I enjoy literate RPs, but everyone makes mistakes, I'm no perfectionist.
It's a high fantasy world, with goblins, magic, evil skeleton lords. You know, the fun stuff.
In terms of story content, romance isn't the goal, but if the characters end up there, I'm not opposed to it. The goal is whatever you decide as the princess. Do you want to take back your kingdom? Avenge your possibly dead parents? Flee and start a new life elsewhere? Study necromancy? It's a choose your own adventure, except I get to be a hermit!
I can't imagine it'll get TOO gory, but there will be violence, death, and all that stuff. I'd like a decently active partner, but we're all busy, so if it takes a few days, that's no big deal.
