As the months grow colder, light a fire and pick up your quill.

Good Evening Sanctum,
Tonight, we're proud to announce a new sitewide event. Led by our own @GremlinSage, during the month of November, we will be giving writers a platform to write their solo stories, to track their progress and to meet their own writing goals, whatever those may be. We're announcing things well in advance so, for those who want to participate, everything can hit the ground running come November 1st.

For anyone who wants the full details, see Grem's thread in the a subforum created specifically for the project. Please direct any inquiries to her or ask them below.

But in brief? (as brief as I ever am)

The idea is simple. Come November, you set a writing goal—be that daily, weekly or for the whole month—and you start writing a brand new story. Topic, genre, everything is up to you, the only limits are Sanctum rules regarding violence against minors. You track your progress and engage with others doing the same. At the end of the month, you'll have a completed work, be it a short story or a full-blown novella.

Oh and of course, for the fun of it, we'll have badges provided for participation from @Jumbled and @firefly

From me, that's all folks! From all of you, I look forward to seeing your work,

James

Still annoyed that Nanowrimo shut down even though that site changed in time and not had much luck yet finding something like Nano for november. (Like how they changed the word count tracker day to day personally). So, this sounds interesting to occupy my time with, what with replies being slow for me. Thx to the boss @JamesMartin, @GremlinSage and other staff for coming up with something possibly fun.
