This realm is set in midieval ages- after the plaque wiped out so many a good 50 years ago
An overview of the towns/cities that make up the realm:
The realm of Ambrosia sits at the middle of a valley, a sunny place full of lush flowers and mountainess terrain. The towns are divided up by a couple of major boundaries, a town called Lux sitting on the outer rim of Ambrosias valley, oftentimes getting barraged with rain and last hints of weather that come from the east. The town of Heralds keep sits at the main middle of the valley, surrounded by other towns and major roads. The major roads surround the crowded and full town. The town of Majora sits beside Heralds keep on the right, oftentimes becoming a hideout city for criminals on the run. The town of Juniper sits off to the left, a major city and center for food production and business. The towns themselves are majorly populated and well kempt.
Details:
The major woods surrounding the cities are thick with brambles and thorny rose bushes.
The town of Lux is a relatively safe spot with little to no crime, a spot known to traders as one of the exits out of the valley. The valley is expansive but two exits serve as an entrance to tourism. The main exit sits at the towns exit, a long winding road that leads out of the valley. The road itself is littered with thieves who frequent the easy picking pickings. The second one is a lesser used road that winds around the valley and out into a mountain area that has a danger of falling rocks, thieves, and random wolf attacks. The town of Lux is known for their apples, a sweet variety growing only in that town. The towns people lovingly call it
The town of Heralds is a main place with no significant item that is advertised, and yet flurishes with activity because of its access to main roads. The town is known for being accepting to most species of feline species and other shape shifters. The town has a history of being open to all. The town of Heralds is very busy with many shops, a local shop for every kind of species that lives there. The main road access is very helpful to local businesses, a hub of activity that is generally welcoming. The main roads loop in all parts of the town, everyone well connected to eachother.
The town of Majora is a shady place that has an even shadier past. The leaders who founded the town were people who had a history of theft, lying, and manipulation. The town is known for its luxurious white rose, a staple that grows wild in the town and surrounding forest. The flower is the only thing innocent about this town. It is known to be a criminals paradise, the town guards do not stop you for any reason but nefarious ones. The mayor is someone who has not been viewed publicly for 20 years running, a private man who prefers to stick to the shadows. Majora is full of back alleys, an intelligence network that lives in plain sight. The town itself is full of businesses, a safe place during the day but do not tred at night. The guards do not make any attempt to control the town, the streets kept clear of debris and trash to keep the rich towns from suspecting illicit activity.
The town of Juniper is a very well kept place that is home to the richest of the rich. The rich run their shops with a heavy sense of purpose, shop owners advised to keep their shelves stocked. The town is known for their excessive flower shops. The humans mostly run this town, shape shifters and others species tending to be kept as slaves. Their rich owners had laws in place to avoid abuse but every now and then someone would opt for a place in the paper as the town menace. The town is a good place to be in but humans are the dominant species there.
The towns themselves made up a realm known as Ambrosia, a land chock full of werewolves, feline shifters, and many more who roamed freely. The realm was full of magic but all of it was used in secrecy, magic forbidden by the kings order over the land. The king himself was a stoic man of 5`6 that did not care one bit about his land. He simply sat in luxury as his kingdom rotted. That is, everywhere but Ambrosia. The realm was his prime jewel, his first ever area to rule before the rest was conquered years later. Ambrosia was a gold mine for him in terms of taxes and land rights.
The land of Ambrosia is where our story and world is set, the realm more than spacious enough to support a story of struggle or many other interesting themes.
A good 20 miles outside the realm of Ambrosia lies a town of golden sunflowers that sway in the wind. The land is ironically called
The city following the Peace City to the west was a simple trading central station called
The city right to the east of the Peace City was THE place to drink, a bar oriented town that catered to Wolven species. It was simply named
To the north was a city of arcane, full of felines and foxes alike, simply named
The final one to boot was a stronghold of all kinds, the final fortress of the old god and home to the current king. The land of Adiras protection, the goddess of harvest. The land of the king was south to all of Ambrosia, a good long trek for anyone who dared to try. The towns in the kings land were many, all plentiful of inns and other needed shops. The bakeries were known far and wide to be the best in Adiras land. The goddess was not known to be active but she did indeed bless harvests for the farmers, frequently seen off in the distance when people get lost, a helping hand to lost travellers. The stronghold of the king was guarded by many men and anthros alike, the beasts of the kingdom accepted as peaceful citizens. The king may have been known to not care but he was no tyrant. The lands were plentiful, known to be the capital of farming and prosperity for business.
Introducing the new edition to the realm, a neighboring kingdom of Merkiya. The land, waters, and wildlife are full of possibilities!
Facing South, Off to the right of Ambrosia, was the dangerous kingdom of Merkiya. Merkiya was a land of Sirens, Krakens, and dangerous mushroom species. The kingdom was comprised of five parts. The first part was as follows.
The most northern of Merkiya was a small town of Violet. The town was a fishing port that operated as a coven for criminals who dared to conspire against the king of Merkiya. The town was not known for much of value but it contained a single tavern, two inns, homes that were owned by the locals, and a main home for the mayor of said town. He was a sincere man who ironically had no evil intentions. He was not a castor of magic, a red wolf that refused to partake in magic as a societal norm. This was Violet evergarden, He looked like this. Violet was peaceful and honest, despite his town being used by many who had been wronged by Ambrosia. The town was fraught with a species of mushroom that paralyzed instantly upon touching skin. If eaten, it can cause paralysis of the nerves that inhabits the body for 24 hours. The town is full of the mushroom species, a good side to the mushroom species was that that it cause intense hullucinations that didn`t cease for 24 hours. The mushroom wasn`t the only thing dangerous, the waters frequently used for fishing tending to have a good species number of sirens. The sirens were known to traverse the waters between Ambrosia and Merkiya, often staying in Merkiya because of how warm the water was. The mayor of Merkiya may have been honest but his town was not. It was full to the brim with many who had been considered wanted for some time. All town dewellers carried weapons, almost none cast arcane. The town of Violet was an expansive town that was built upon the waters of Merkiya, all of the houses and buuldings upon stilts that were reinforced with strong metal. The town did not have a local Kraken.
The southern island of Merkiya was one of myth, a Kraken living in the waters just outside a massive island. The island was considered uninhabited by all of the kingdom. Yet, a precious crystal sits in an ancient cave guarded by Adira. The local goddess guarded treasures of value at times, the cavern having gone untouched for many thousand years. The land of the island was inhabitated by wild poisonous snakes and toads. The toads were all bright yellows and green hues to indicate that they should not be eaten. The island had no name officially but it was called
The western town was located far from the others, a random dot on the map. The town and islands dotting around it were full of Krakens and Sirens along with living algae that attacked upon sight. The waters were murky, lucky to your character. The sands were a shifty red, the water full of small cephlapods that loved to lure swimmers to death. The ringed cephlapods were crafty little things that had a mind of their own. The town was reliant on water travel, all ships reinforced and safe to use. The cephlapods were less likely to attack if you used a brightly colored ship, all ships colored a bright hue of either yellow or red. The blue ships were ships used by fishermen. The fish other than the dangerous ones were nonviolent fatty fish. The fish was tasty and plentiful in this kingdom. The town was called

2- This town was located two clicks north of Julip, aptly named
3- This town was located relatively close to all the towns, a port that served horses and men of trades. The trades were accounted for in this massive town. The lamb chops were something sacred on the menu in a particular tavern. The tavern was called
4- This town was where the queen had her castle, a stark white and blue castle that sat atop a large hill. The castle was surrounded by a lush forest that went for many miles, the town below her was a place called
5- And finally, The final town to dot the map by the sea was a port that many traders came and went. It was an uneventful place where business was held, a massive portion of the town used for homes of local fishermen and tradesmen of the kingdom. The interesting part was just how many boats were built here, many a things the kingdom of Ambrosia and Merkiya used for tools were made here. The place was known to have fine craftmanship and artistry. The mayor of such a fine town was aptly named Aiden. He was a bright man of Merkiya decent. He looked like this. Aiden was brother to Jubillee, his family being very calm mannered as a family trait.
The lore of Merkiya will be explained soon, so will the lore of Ambrosia in a seperate note to this post

The land of Ambrosia is where our story and world is set, the realm more than spacious enough to support a story of struggle or many other interesting themes.
A good 20 miles outside the realm of Ambrosia lies a town of golden sunflowers that sway in the wind. The land is ironically called
Peace city
, a wild trope of bandits naming it for fun one day. The town is a giant trap of beauty. The sunflowers are beautiful but do not be fooled, they will attack upon being touched in any way. The land is home to many a bandits that target travellers and merchants. One woman sits at the top of the pyramid of power, A sly fox with the mouth of a sailor. She was the very guardian and queen bee over the bandits. She was 5`6 with piercing eyes, looking like This. The fox was known for her innate abilities with the arcane. Her species of fox wielded magic the best of all the species of fox, their intelligence higher than the average. Her name was Juniper E. Haligen, her family of criminal acitivity known to control half of the trade routes. Juniper was a monster of energy with abilities to control gravity, fire, and any weapon of her choice. Juniper had mastered all weapons in her life, the species also having quite a long lifespan if given chance to prosper. The city following the Peace City to the west was a simple trading central station called
Haligtree
, a big tree with beuatiful amber flowers growing in the middle of town. The flowers had beneficial effects for anyone who had fallen sick. Haligtree was an area of hard sun that enjoyed relatively no winter or fall, the weather remaining consistent at all times of the year. The only downfall to it was that it was run by an idiotic rodent named Jester. Jester was a clown headed oaf who genuinely felt no loyalty to anyone but the king. Jester was the mayor but only cared about what made more money. His town was a well maintained hub of activity for anyone but it lacked personality and love. There was no care for what you were, as long as you had something to trade you were safe to pass by. Jester was a mouse anthro who could not cast magic. The rodents in the kingdom were not known to cast magic or even sense it well. Their teeth were ironically used to create magic staffs since they were very strong materials. The town had 4 inns, two bars, and a horse stable that rented to those of stature. You needed money if you wanted a stallion of good value. The traders had a hub to trade at, a massive market that catered to all species. The city right to the east of the Peace City was THE place to drink, a bar oriented town that catered to Wolven species. It was simply named
Innswood
. The most bars you will ever see sit in one singular huge town. The inns were well equiped to handle drunks and traders of all kinds. The kings personal pet wolf stood at the top as mayor. He was Jasper, a quiet wolf who earned his warrior stripes from previous years of war. His scars were numerous and yet, his eyes were powerfully transparent. He was a man of five words, he refused to speak unless spoken to. His town was his emblem of choice, he loved to drink and relax with his species. Wolves, werewolves, and all dog species were welcome here. Their kind was frequently being trained as warriors, not magicians. His kind was known to wield a weapon better than arcane. Their arcane when born with it was some of the most powerful to exist, a rare thing for a wolf to be born already attuned to the realm of arcane. To the north was a city of arcane, full of felines and foxes alike, simply named
Circellia
. Of all the species, the felines sat at the second best for arcane casting. The foxes may have had the top spot but the feline kind controlled the second spot with pride. Their ability to defy logic with agile leaps of faith and outrageous cunning was astounding. This city was lost to time, and yet it held a deadly secret. A single place was guarded without fail, a shrine to a lost god. The city was one alleged to be full of gold one day in the past, the previous king said to have been a bloodthirsty dragon who hoarded the treasures of his people. The king had disappeared into the city one day, never to be seen again. The king was a massive dragon of 6`5 that ruled the skies once, his kind once giving birth to all of magic one day in time thousands of years ago. It was a golden day when magic was born, arcane becoming the very living being that ruled all sentient and not so sentient beings. The best castors of myth are dragon kin, they are literally made of magic. In every scale, lies the ultimate weapon of arcane. Their scales will sell for thousands of crunes, the currency currently being used far and wide in the kingdom. The king was a ruthless leader who decimated thousands in a war with the wolves and foxes one day a good thousand years ago. He was believed, if alive at all, to be currently sitting and waiting for some lone warrior to challenge him. The city also held someone who guarded that location with certainty, a wild fox soul who had promised herself to the lost god years ago. She was named Adriel, a warrior who had braved many a storms and bandits, owning the very key to the dungeon that contained what to most was a mystery. Adriel was 5`4 and covered in ancient magic words written in coal. She was a woman who could do almost anything arcane except use demonic fire. Her fox fire and illusion ability was already strong but add on the ability to lie undetected to prey until it was too late...and shes pretty damn overpowered. Her powers were strong but her ability to annoy others to the point where they didn`t want the treasure was her crown jewel. A true fox knew how to win a fight without raising a weapon. Adriel was truly the crown jewel in the area, living off the land and defending her key. It was her duty to defend, a guardian for the very gods that exist and no longer are active. Adriel was a devotee in all aspects, living in the abandoned town of lore quietly. The final one to boot was a stronghold of all kinds, the final fortress of the old god and home to the current king. The land of Adiras protection, the goddess of harvest. The land of the king was south to all of Ambrosia, a good long trek for anyone who dared to try. The island had no name officially but it was called
Mysteria
to those who knew of the ancient ways of lore. The lore ran deep for that island, once grounds to the goddess Adira and her son, Arcadia. He was the god of Lies, a mystical being that only appeared to thieves in need. Arcadia was a silver tongued fox known to look innocent, and yet quite the opposite. The island was their home until the great day of May in the 4th century. The day was when the gods went to war, a great war determining which ones wanted to rule. Adira and her son came out on top of this war but they never did return to the island. Their stone of great power sat in their bedroom. If one managed to get past the Kraken and the snakes and toads, then you would have to get past the trapped hallways, courtyards with endless steps that had triggers set in them. It was dangerous to attempt to get the stone. The goddess and her son had made the ultimate legendary item available for only those who dared to go past their boundaries and used their intelligence and bravery well. The western town was located far from the others, a random dot on the map. The town and islands dotting around it were full of Krakens and Sirens along with living algae that attacked upon sight. Arcadia
, a giant town that worshipped Arcadia as a god. The locals were all nomads that lived silently, their lives often uneventful. Most did not venture out into the waters without protective gear, great arcadia protect you if you ever went swimming or fell in! The town was dotted with homes, a wide area that had expanded over time. The town was a fishing port that served to all kinds of customers. The homes were on solid land for the most part bu the outside homes and taverns were on stilts. The reinforced town was a good place to call home, home to the mayor of Arcadia. This was her. she was named June, her quiet and inquisitive nature something most first observed. She tended to stay to her home, often making money off her own fishing sails. East to all of that lied the kingdom of
The golden order
. The queen was a manical woman who hated Ambrosia for kicking him off the throne. The queen to Merkiya was his sister. The woman was a sadist who loved the arcane arts, her nature very oriented toward violence. She was a rabbit species, a rare one of her kind that could cast it well. This was her. Her name was queen Olivia. The dark and the light arcane were legal in her kingdom. The kingdom was a collection of towns that all were inland, the only part of the watery kingdom that had a lot of land. The kingdom faced the sea, the sea full of Krakens. The water life was lethal to most, Sirens also calling those waters home. The kingdom had five central towns, all of which were labelled by clear markers and road signs. The use of horse and carriages was the most common way of traversing the kingdom. The five towns were as follows:1- The town of
Julip
was a music oriented town that many artists loved to stay in. A lot of music was shared through this town. It had a lot of small flowers, nonlethal wildlife, and a peaceful atmosphere that most preferred. This was the main town that sat in the middle, roads clear and free of debris. All of the roads were free of thieves in this town, a policy keeping theft to a minimum. The queen kept tight order in this town, her majesty pointed out by a great statue in the middle of the tavern dotted town. The mayor of this town was a lovely woman named Lindsay. Lindsay was an advocate for peace and rights for all species, her curious lynx nature something to note as well. This town was known primarily for its musical talent. 2- This town was located two clicks north of Julip, aptly named
Voidfield
. The town was a play on words. It had nothing of big events, and yet the queen prided herself over its existence. The voidfield town was known for its easy to use roads, high number of trees, and logging. The logging kept the town and many of Merkiya well stocked with wood. The lovelty trees were plentiful in the dotted town, a forest located by said town. The queen had a policy in place to replant trees when one was taken. The forest had grown well through the time it had been there, supposedly blessed by the great goddess of nature one day a couple thousand years ago. Though, the goddess of nature had seemingly disappeared. She did not respond to calls or spoken tongue of the fae. The fae tended to hang around this town, the fairy kind was something of a crafty species that loathed humans. They did not attack or interract but sometimes, tales of being spirited away by the fae would be shared among the townsfolk. The queens close confidant was her mayor to this town, a humble servant named Jubillee. She was a trader who honored her town and the many contributions to the economy it had. Jubillee was a calm mannered cat shifter who talked a bit too much when she got comfortable with someone. 3- This town was located relatively close to all the towns, a port that served horses and men of trades. The trades were accounted for in this massive town. The large town was known for its use of farm land, fresh food being served in many a inns. The cooks were legendary in this town, the food fresh and always prepared well. The lamb chops were something sacred on the menu in a particular tavern. The tavern was called
The rusty hook
and it was a place familiar to all species. The rusty hook was a place where all kinds belonged, an inn and a tavern combined. The town was well protected by the queens guards, not a single theft occuring in a good hundred years of the towns existence. The owner of this tavern was a simple woman named Dusty. Dusty was a calm woman who ran her business with such a versocity that many feared her strong glare. The tavern was a well known landmark of Merkiya. This town was simply located q good couple miles from Voidfield and relatively nearby the queens palace. This town was run by a bird shifter who was named Bi-han. She was a species that was entirely cut off to magic, simple bird shifters that lived peacefully. Bi-han was quiet, peaceful, and hard working at ensuring her town was safe for all. 4- This town was where the queen had her castle, a stark white and blue castle that sat atop a large hill. The castle was surrounded by a lush forest that went for many miles, the town below her was a place called
Lush town
. It was full of taverns, inns, and trade shops. The town was known to be a regal town, many folks living a rich life with ease. The ease of transportation was something of legend, many roads clean and free of thieves. The dungeons of the castle regularly killed off thieves by the mass. Thieves and criminals of stature were not welcome in her kingdom. Queen Olivia was strict on ensuring her kingdoms main area was taken care of in every sense of the word. She ruled with an iron fist, the towns all knowing what happened if thieves were spotted. Her spies were everywhere to ensure peace among her people. The town was simply known for the rich atmosphere and ease of life. The wildlife was nonlethal and full. The flowers planted everywhere did not attack, simply sway in the wind and bring a lovely scent with them. The blue and red flowers dotted the woods, rose bushes lining the bushes as well. The mayor was a tough nut to crack known as Yakob. He was a dragon shifter who had been the result of an ancient ancestor of his rubbin elbows with the king of the past. Yakob was a simple dragon who yearned to please his queen and honor the town. The town was his crown jewel.
