If you're a die hard fan of TLOU like me, then you've come to the right place.

Seriously, I don't think I'll ever get tired of doing a rp on this. This is probably like my fifth time going through this phase of craving a very gritty TLOU rp lol. I used to have this absolutely wonderful 1x1 rp (MxF) in this universe and sometimes I kinda miss what I had with that person, y'know?

I've also started a new playthrough of part 2 a few days ago (just need the permadeath trophy now!) and I'm watching the second season of the show, so I think it's pretty clear why I'm itching to dive back into this world.

PLOT

This will not involve any of the canonical events or characters from the games or the show.

Two hardened survivors (early 30s?), one from the WLF and the other from Jackson, cross paths as enemies during a violent conflict between—you guessed it—their groups. However, things quickly spiral out of control when the sounds of gunfire draw in a massive horde of infected.

They go from enemies to reluctant allies as both groups get wiped out. They flee the scene together and a series of unfortunate events keeps them working together for a few weeks, which I think is plenty of time for any two people to come to trust/open up to one another in an apocalyptic situation, given death lurks around every corner and two's better than one. Rest is to be brainstormed.

If you would like, your character could be a Seraphite. However the religious aspect may add to the initial tension given my character will probably think they're a religious fanatic.

WHAT KIND OF VIBES? (Scene ideas)

Main themes: Action, Survival, Gore, Psychological, and…

Human.

Think back to those moments in the games where…

• Henry and Joel were talking about motorcycles and other things from their past while boiling some kind of stew? for dinner, while Ellie and Sam shared their fears.
• Ellie and Riley explored the shopping mall
• Ellie was upset with Joel because he was going to make Tommy take her to the hospital instead

I want lots and lots of emotional scenes. Lots and lots of scenes where our characters resent the things that have happened to them; reminisce about and share their pre-outbreak memories; regret the choices they've made; remember who they've lost, and foolishly assume the other person hasn't gone through similar tragedies in the heat of the moment.

But also…moments where maybe they can smile. Crack a stupid joke or two. Find the other person a jacket they can put on, instead of the weathered one they've got. Talk about the people they used to know, people they've dated, people they wish they could see again.

I want characters and dynamics that are so, so foolishly and endearingly human. Mistakes that are human like missing headshots and almost getting torn apart alive. Narrowly escaping a Molotov that was hurled their way. I want arguments, disagreements, misunderstandings, tragedies, relief, vulnerability, everything. The good and the bad.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be a fan of TLOU (ideally knowledgeable about both the games and the show)
• Be literate
• 500 words max per reply
• Active OOC chat (even if the rp goes quiet for a while)
• Do not ghost! If you want to drop the rp, then just say so.
• Please contribute. Do not expect me to come up with everything
• Be open to playing side characters

CAN THERE BE ROMANCE?

Romance is not a must.

I'm perfectly fine for the relationship between our characters to be a platonically strong one, a comradeship.

If you do want romance or if there is enough chemistry between them, here are a few things you should know:

• I'm open to MxM, MxF, FxF.

With MxF I will be the guy, unless I somehow really want to try being the girl for once. Which hasn't happened yet…

With MxM I want both characters to be 'masculine' (not in a toxic way but y'know what I mean) and on the muscular side. Nothing crazy, just athletic and strong guys.

With FxF I'm not very fussed honestly. As long as your girl isn't uwu or whatever.

• If smut is involved, my character will top.

I've tried writing a bottom a few times but I don't really vibe with it. Fade to black is fine.

• Smut will be vanilla.

Simply because there just wouldn't be enough 'resources' or time to get into fetish heavy stuff in an apocalypse lol.
(unless you have access to Eugene's sex den but like…what could you possibly do with his gas mask bong???)
