I wrote down a request for this pairing idea a while back, but it's outdated and messy, so I decided to just ... redo the whole thing and try to make it more appealing and easier to consume. It hasn't been claimed yet, but I have hope. Second time's the charm ? Is that something they say ? Anyway, please forgive me for being a bit of a rambler. I personally enjoy it when I'm reading a request where the author is sharing their thoughts, so I'm hoping other people will enjoy it as well.

Feel free to call me Amor ! There will be a username change as soon as I'm able to. I'm a genderfluid, AFAB writer and my pronouns are he / she / they. Any nicknames or funny pet names are acceptable, as long as they're not clearly flirtatious. I'm not looking to date here. I'm 28+ years old and I have 15+ years of experience in the roleplaying scene, but I definitely don't claim to be a professional when it comes to writing. I'd consider myself advanced literate with the chance to improve. I'm not very good with prose, but I'd like to practice during my time here. Outside of roleplaying and writing, I enjoy heavy editing with the use of Adobe Photoshop, drawing ( sometimes β rarely nowadays ) and gaming. If you're wondering my game rotation at the moment includes Genshin Impact, Overwatch 2 and Where Winds Meet. I occasionally play Warframe with a good friend as well and I'm always on the lookout of new games to try out, as long as they're action-based. I'd say anything in the realm of FPS, Battle Royale, MMORPGs, etc. I also have a Discord account and I'm in the Sanctum server, for anyone who wishes to reach out there.

I'm honestly a simple person, with simple needs. Currently looking for a dark romance within the GENSHIN IMPACT fandom, involving the canon character Il Dottore and my male OC.
βββ QUICK WARNING, that due to the nature of Dottore, this story will include potentially triggering themes !
Subjects such as abuse, abandonment, medical malpractice, human experimentation, violence, blood, gore and death will likely be present or mentioned somewhere within the story. If you have a weak stomach for this kind of content, I wouldn't recommend applying for this specific story, as I don't wish either of us to shy away from Dottore's darker side. Sure, he can be a charmer at times. But he has a few loose screws, without a single doubt. And I also really want my OC, Yichen, to go through the realisation that he's fallen in love with a monster. That being said, none of this content will ever be treated as a fetish. It's simply writing for our own entertainment and to create a solid story with darker notes to it.

βββ THE STORY OUTLINE I HAVE IN MIND :
Yichen is a popular Geji ( the Chinese equivalent of a Geisha ) in Liyue Harbour. He was purchased by his current Master and eventually made to apprentice as a Geji. Master Zhao Fu is a cruel and greedy man, who views his Geji as properties and means to increase his wealth. He doesn't shy away from berating them in public and that's what he's doing when Dottore ( who's likely in Liyue for Fatui-related business ) comes across the spectacle of a furious Master Zhao Fu howling at a very embarrassed Yichen. Dottore is already in a snappy mood because he was made to travel all the way to Liyue for what turns out to be a trivial misunderstanding and snaps at Zhao Fu to quit making a fool of himself in the middle of a crowded street. Zhao Fu works with the Fatui, often providing Geji for entertainment, and immediately pales at the sight of Dottore. He stammers something about needing to meet a client and scurries off, leaving Yichen stunned. Yichen's never witnessed someone berate his Master and although the Fatui terrify him in general, he finds himself going looking for Dottore the following morning. He wants to thank him for " rescuing " him the previous day, even though he knows Dottore didn't do it out of the goodness of his heart. Yichen finds himself enchanted by the scientist's intellect and ends up falling for him and finding ways to spend time with him, during Dottore's stay in Liyue Harbour.
The endgame I have in mind is that Dottore ends up using Pantalone's funds β much to Pantalone's dismay β to purchase Yichen's contract off of Zhao Fu and take Yichen back to Snezhnaya with him, where he plans on making a fighter out of the beautiful and gentle Geji. Elements of corruption will probably be present, but that's not necessary. I would, however, like to develop Yichen further during the story ; making him learn how to properly utilise his Anemor Vision, how to fight back, etc. Ideally, he takes Scaramouche's place as the sixth Harbinger eventually and due to Dottore's influence. That's also not necessary, it'd just be a fun little twist.

I don't want to say these are guidelines, exactly, because I'm open to discussing and changing certain things up, but these are just some things I tend to do. As well as the few expectations I have from whoever applies for this story.
- I am up to date with my Archon Quests and typically play all the newest content within the week of its release. I don't expect everyone to be this dedicated and we can definitely set our writing during whatever point of the story you're most comfortable with. My vague idea is that it starts during Liyue's Archon Quests and progresses from there. Though I suppose it's important that you've played through Sumeru, since that's where Dottore is formally introduced to players. We can always bend the rules a little and introduce our own headcanons, etc.
- If possible, I'd like to write against Prime instead of any of his segments. But we can mix and match. Maybe Yichen meets a segment first, then Prime. That's up for discussion.
- RESPONSES ONCE A WEEK, MINIMUM ! I try my best to stick to that, but sometimes life happens, inspiration dies, etc. I will always communicate, if I need more time to get back to you and I'd appreciate it if you did the same. Though, only after the one week mark. You don't need to excuse yourself to me if you don't reply the same day. That being said, sometimes I pop out replies in rapid fire mode, but those are rare instances. Please wait for a few days or a week, before asking me if I'm working on something for you.
- Ghost friendly, but a heads up is greatly appreciated. I always let my partner know if I want to back out.
- Third person and past tense only. I don't feel comfortable with first / second person.
- Replies will be 300 - 1000+ words per post. Usually, they're around 500 - 800 words, but can be longer or shorter, depending on where we stand at the story. Nothing less than 300 words and absolutely no one liners. I want something to work with and something to help me produce a response that's worth reading.
- This story is very specific. Strictly MxM and CCxOC. I won't genderbend Yichen and I'm not looking to write against anyone but Il Dottore. Although, if you wish to write Zhongli or Diluc for Yichen, feel free to drop me a message because those are also a couple of pairings I'm very into.
- Yichen is generally submissive, but can and will defend someone he cares about. He may be a little mellow, but I promise you he's not that kind of character who scrapes his knee and cries for two hours, while saying he's dying. And he will evolve as the story progresses. I really enjoy it when a character shifts and grows during the story.
- Again, dark content will be present in this story.
- I'm a fan of smut and I'd like to include it in the story, but it won't be the focal point. Consider it the sauce of the main dish, when and if it comes up. I won't set a ratio, because I don't know if there is one yet.
- LIMITS : ageplay, incest, rape, bodily fluids, sexual abuse and hypnosis. Those are non-negotiable. Mentions of sexual abuse as headcanons will be present and are acceptable, but I won't write it as a kink.
- I generally prefer to write with 21+ writers, but not strictly. The writer's gender is irrelevant, as long as you can write MxM.

If you've reached this point, thank you for sticking with me ! I know I ramble a lot but it's something I enjoy in other writers as well. My PMs tend to be walls of text when discussing a story because I get over-excited about my writing, even if my inspiration is very low at times and can be finicky.
