Hi, my name is Lemony and I've been writing for a very long time but I am fairly new to roleplaying. I'm wanting to get better at my dialogue and this was recommended by some friends.
I prefer writing in the third person and I have a hectic family life on the weekends so responses can be sparse but I'm bored as hell at work so will probably be able to get something written there.
I don't mind gore and violence or smut (if it has a purpose in the story). I will say that if you bring me a cliche story and/or character I will get bored easily. I make a hobby out of predicting books and movies from their cliche content. I'm here to be challenged so if you have any plots you can think of, throw them at me. I love writing any kind of being, as long as she is smart and can throw a punch when needed. I do have one plot in mind, let me know if you want to use it or spice it up, or if you have something you think I would like.
My plot: My character is a siren who has been living on the surface world because it's safer than the sea. She longs for the ocean and takes a job as a live-in cook on a billionaire's yacht. The night before she gets on the boat, she heads to the bar with some friends and leaves with a handsome and funny gentleman. This is your character. They have a wonderful night together, sure the sex is great but the conversation is deep and meaningful, intelligent. In the morning she runs off without a goodbye, late for her new job. Once on the boat, she settles in as the new cook only to be introduced to her boss's son, (I'm sure you see where this is going) the man she just had the best night ever with. It's a thrilling moment until his fiance walks in. Your character doesn't want to leave his fiance, but can't deny the connection he has with my character (not to mention whatever reason he had for cheating on her). My character doesn't want to get with a human but now they have to keep their secret, and their feelings, hidden away.
