Muse A is a rich, perfect, glorified idol. He has it all, anything he wants, when he wants it. And he expects to get it when he wants it. He is what his society would call a Pretty.
Meadow Young is what this futuristic, dystopian society would consider an Ugly. She is a rebel and knows that their society's ways are wrong and she wants to take the Pretty empire down . . . But that's not the full story . . .
Some time in the far future, after the Great Fall(the last world war that consequently ended in America being cut off from the rest of the world by a force field like wall that Japan produced), when technology has advanced so you can look at the latest social media and DMs through a contact lens in your eye, an advanced and greedy society blossomed from the rubble. One of the towns, Ugly Ville, was a small town that consisted of ordinary people who were poor. The other, Pretty City, was where the rich families, who could afford the Surgery lived. There they lived in prosperous and luxurious conditions. But the poor people of Ugly Ville weren't as fortunate. Ignored by there richer neighbors, they lived in rundown apartment complexes and had minimal food. The town and city were separated by a large rive that had a single guarded bridge as a path to and from. Some Uglies rose above and were granted access to Pretty City, leaving the less fortunate behind to die. Some Uglies were humbled by their hardship, others were bitter and vengeful. The Pretties, on the other hand, were blissfully disconcerned by the Uglies. They were all too busy trying to become famous or befriend famous people. The Surgery was something every pretty got at the age of 18. They modified themselves to be beautiful, they made themselves taller, leaner, more muscular, stronger, they made their hair and eyes brighter, removed freckles and blemishes. They. Were. Perfect.
Meadow Lux Young is a 19 year old girl who lives in Ugly Ville, she was short, curvy(small waist and large hips, something that most Pretties would look down on because they glorified looking like an anorexic model), her hair was straight and long, it reached her lower back. She was not ugly, but according to Pretty standereds, she wasn't pretty either. She was a rebel at heart, she and her friends always talked about going to Pretty City and crashing a party, so finally, one day, they did. They jumped the wall, going unnoticed by the drones and guards, and then they dressed in some Pretty clothes they stole and broke into a party. But not just any party. Muse A's party. He was the like a god in the Pretty world. And likle the Devil himself in the Ugly world. They were trying to lay low, but when Meadow caught Muse A's eye that plan flung itself out the window and died. He followed her until she was forced to run from the party, but then one of Muse A's 3 bestfriends(all main characters) caught her. She had covered her blemishes with make up, but Muse A saw through it. However he didn't turn her in. He instead made a deal with her that if she stayed with him he wouldn't turn her in. With no other choice she agreed. So her new life began living in a huge penthouse with Muse A and his bestfriends. She stilled hated Pretties and planned to destroy them, but what would happen now? Now that she could destroy them from the inside?
