Imagine, if you will, a lone elven woman living her best life in the middle of nowhere with her self-sufficient little cottage and all the peace she could ever ask for. She’s had a brief taste of life among the general populace and quickly realizes that it’s not for her. The solitude of her life is why she enjoys it as much as she does and she’s willing to do everything in her power to hold onto for the rest of her life.
Enter the villain….(Dragon shifter)
For days he’s been on the run, poisone, injured, and desperate. He’s managed to evade his attackers and he’s on the look out for a place to lay low for a few days, long enough to start to properly heal and recover. Coming across MC’s home, he sees the perfect opportunity. In the dead of the night while she’s asleep, he breaks in, covers her eyes and holds a knife to her throat telling her as long as she helps him, she’ll survive. With everything to live for, and no reason to want the man to die, she agrees, figuring that her best chances of survival is to play along. Why fight? He could win, even if he’s injured and it’s not in her to let someone die.
There is only one other condition to keep her life; she must remain completely blindfolded whenever she is in the room with him. Unable to look at him at all, she’s forced to rely on him entirely to care for him. She’s gentle enough that things begin to stir and he tests how far he can take his control over her.
(This part of the story is smut heavy. However, once it tapers off, it will be more story/romance and less smut. However, while he is staying in her house they’re going at it like bunnies. Not 100% smut, but close.)
Her motivation remains survival, but she also sees an opportunity. She’s not some wilting wallflower terrified of life outside her little bubble. She’s lived, briefly, outside her little sanctuary, long enough to suffer enough heartbreak and witness enough misery for her to understand she doesn’t want it. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t remember what it’s like to have physical needs, which is why she goes along. The happier she makes him, the more likely she’ll survive. He doesn’t reveal anything to her, but she knows he’s eager to get back to his plans. She assumes he’ll be out of her hair once he’s used her to his heart’s content.
And so for a week or two, they act like teenagers, thinking more with their hormones than their heads. Neither of them plan on it going any longer than his recovery time and he’s certainly not planning on sticking around. It’s a fling in both of their minds and they accept that when he’s ready to go, they’re parting ways.
The time comes and he summons his people to come get him to begin working on his master plan. (I will explain this further down.) Just as he’s about to leave, he feels a pang of something that stops him. He turns back to meet the eyes of MC and what he sees makes him freeze. He’s hoping he’d see some kind of emotion, at least a little bit of regret that he was leaving, but he finds nothing. If anything, she looks eager to see him go and that breaks something in him. He can’t kill her, but he knows what will hurt her more than death.
Before he can grab her, she flees into the woods believing she can at least outrun him. She’s familiar with the surroundings, knows all the places to hide, and she at least has the advantage of a brief head start. Little does she know, he’s already shifted and she doesn’t stand a chance of getting away from him.
And from here, the plot truly begins….however, that plot depends entirely on the villain!
World domination? Revenge? Starting a war? I am open to all of it, with a few exceptions.
Throughout it all, he refuses to let my character go. It starts off as a need to break her in some way. He feels rejected by how easily could watch him leave and he hates it. He can’t figure out why, but he wants to become more important to her than the peace she’s been holding onto. He decides there is only one way. He makes her his concubine. The intention is to keep her close while trying to break her spirit without breaking her entirely. She’s forced to depend on him for everything, and he quickly learns the easiest ways to win her over.
But he still has his plans. He’s still striving toward his ultimate goal, whatever that may be, all while struggling with whatever he feels for MC and the constant struggle between them.

This is messy as hell. A lot of the plot depends heavily on the villain’s backstory, his motivations, and what his endgame is. What I would like to keep in the plot is that she is his concubine. The relationship that develops between them from there is completely dependent on the story and how things go.
Even though she is his concubine, this is where smut begins to take a backburner to focus on the story and all the fun stuff. I would still like smut involved, because it’s fun and I’m not going to say it’s not. I do get bored without smut and romance.
Rules for the site apply, of course. All characters will be adults. This is fantasy, so they’ll be far older than 18, regardless of age, they will be full grown adults.
