The Yong Empire
The Yong Empire is a prosperous and peaceful place to live, justice and order devotedly preserved by the Imperial Yeon family.
That is not to say there isn't a seedy underbelly or things like that, that sort of thing is next to impossible to prevent completely, but a strong effort is made to keep this seedy underbelly from becoming too powerful.
The Yong Empire is a blend of Ancient and Modern Korean culture.
The Yeon Family, the current reigning family, is known to the populace as God-Touched or favored by the divines, the reason for this being that those of the royal bloodline tend to age very slowly. The aging process would typically be that a royal family member after reaching the age of eighteen would see their rate of aging slow drastically to them physically aging one year for every ten years that go by.
When marrying, a ritual is performed by priests that ties the bride/groom's aging process with that of the royal family member they are marrying.
