In a misguided course of action to bring the terror of Halloween as a permanent reality to the human world, squashing all other holidays in its wake… A curse of perpetual Halloween night has been cast over the realm. Will the other holidays stand for it? Who has cast this spell? But more importantly, how can it be broken?
Inspiration: Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas; a darker and more horror-esque rendition.
Roles: We all know the classic, we all know the characters - however, this is an opportunity to let your imagination run wild with possibilities! Anyone wishing to play main canon characters (ie Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie etc) will have to sell me on it, as I'd like for this to be more based in the theme rather than the OG story. Rules:
- Be a proactive roleplayer. I will not hold your hand in plotting, I will not fluff your pillows. Come with ideas on what motivates your character and how you hope for them to develop. If it becomes apparent that you do not make active efforts to engage with others, I will kindly ask you to leave. It is a group effort, and we all must give mutual energy.
- Mutual respect for everyone participating.
- No OP, all-powerful, good-at-everything type characters. No Sues.
- Keep drama IC.
- Post rate expectancy: Once a week, but more is encouraged. Communication is key, if you can't post for whatever reason please just let us know, however absence without communication longer than two weeks will result in expulsion.
- Word count expectancy: Loosely between 200-500 words. Shorter posts help keep the story moving and muses up.
- Character Limit is Two, so long as you are able to keep up.
- There will be a Discord server for OOC.
