Greetings. Welcome to my intro thread. Let's skip the boring part where I pretend to be interesting or unique.

I came from a hundred other websites just like this one, carrying on my one-man quest to prove that RP isn't dead—which is admittedly a bit self-defeating, considering the "one-man" part.

My specialities:

• Beautiful Ruin: I write characters and stories that orbit power and the cost of wielding it, the ache of wanting to be seen, and the quiet violence of survival. Gods who lie, lovers who wound, mentors who fall, and rebels who know their fight is hopeless.
• Original Settings: I'm somewhere in my 30s and thoroughly out of the zeitgeist. I don't do fandoms, and I have no interest in tracing the outlines of popular media. Give me original fantasy—high or low, sci-fi or mythic, haunted or holy.
• Gamut Runner: I like stories that bleed across genres. Romance, horror, political intrigue, surprising comedy, emotional devastation—if it makes you feel something, I'm probably into it. I live to titillate. Sometimes tastefully. Sometimes not.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there! However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then!
