This is the OOC thread for the thread One & Only.

Taking place at Yale University, located in New Haven, Connecticut - this thread centers around Senior Wade Carver and freshman Alexander "Alex" Cabot, as they meet and navigate through a new school year at the prestigious university.

This thread is to showcase their characters, NPCs, and any other information that is relevant to the thread.

Age: 19
Hometown: Chicago Illinois
Major: political Science
Description: Alex is 5'4 with slightly wavy light brown hair and large green eyes. He's skinny with a lithe frame and a round face shape. He sometimes wear glasses if his contact are hurting his eye
Brief Background: Alex was born to a wealthy and powerful family in Chicago. His family has many famous political and business members. Alex would prefer to draw, but his family insist he join the family business. Alex convinced his parents to let him take one art elective and in exchange he had to work for the family business for a year before he was allowed to attend university hence why he's a year older than many of his classmates in the freshman year.

AI: (Stands for Additional Information) Alex isn't happy at Yale and the only thing that brings light is his art classes and Wade Carver who he has a crush on. Alex prefers sweet things to anything else. Instead of music Alex draws to audio books. Alex's family doesn't know he's gay and Alex fights with idea of coming out in the hopes of breaking free from his families suffocating grasp.

Major: Experimental Psychology
Description: Wade stands at 5'10", with dirty blond hair, and silver eyes. He has an athletic body type and a clear skin complexion. Wade's most prominent feature are his tattoos. Wade has tattoos all over his body except his neck, face, and groin area.
Brief Background: Wade was born in Ocean City, Maryland, but right before he began middle school he moved to Meriden, CT. His family wasn't wealthy, but they were still considered upper middle class and were well off. Wade realized he was gay when he was in middle school, but was comfortable enough with his sexuality to come out shortly after he learned his preference. Just before Wade started High School he started attending an LGBT youth group and became friends with a small group that wanted to start a fraternity that was exclusive to gay men. Wade joined this group, and after learning the fraternity would most likely be at Yale University, worked very hard to not only be academically gifted, but athletically gifted as well. Wade caught Yale's eye, especially when they learned he was part of the group starting Pi Lambda Phi (ΠΛΦ), and accepted him during his Senior Year in High School.

ΠΛΦ opened its doors during Wade's freshmen year at Yale and received an automatic bid as one of its founders. ΠΛΦ faced backlash almost immediately from the community and other fraternities on campus but considering the founders all had a good standing at Yale, it kept the fraternity in operation despite how controversial it was. Wade was made the president of the fraternity his senior year, as all the other founders had graduated by then. As the last founder at Yale Wade is concerned that ΠΛΦ will be easier to disband once he graduates and one of his goals as President is to find a way for the fraternity to be in operation even after all its founders are no longer in college.

• Wade is obsessed with body art. He got his first tattoo on his 18th birthday and never stopped, leading to several tattoos being all over his body.
• Wade is majoring in Experimental Psychology and plans to get his Masters so he can pursue a career as a sex therapist. He's almost done with his requirements to graduate with a Bachelor's, but was told he needed a Fine Arts credit so signed up for Art.
• Wade got a job at his local gym as a Personal Trainer and has even done some modeling on the side.
• Wade thinks the first step in keeping ΠΛΦ open after he graduates is having a successful rush week.
