Hello! I’ve [21+ F] been on a little historic role the past few days, and I’ve been itching to write something loosely inspired by the fall of the Byzantine empire. A plot in which the unlikeliest of successors sits the throne of a kingdom, on the cusp of an invasion from the ottomans and other enemies. I would love to write a female heir who, against all odds, becomes queen and must navigate through tumultuous politics and death; perhaps opposite a detested suitor forced on her by her council, a doomed love, or even the sultan himself. Maybe all of them!
In short, I want us both to write more than one character and really build this plot. I write advanced literate to novella level (though my length does vary depending on the scene and the vibe), so if you’re semi-lit or stick to one liners, please don’t interact. I’d love a partner who’s enthusiastic and detailed! I don’t want to be the only one putting effort. Bring me the headcanons, the worldbuilding, tropes, pinterest boards, playlists—you name it.
Please come with a little intro of yourself as a writer and preferably a writing sample, ideas you might have for your character(s) or the plot itself, otherwise I won’t respond.
If you’re interested, DMs are open!
