Background:

Anastasia's focus is to make a big name for herself in the science world, theoretical astrophysics to be exact. It's known to be a male dominated field so she's well aware that she needs to work harder than the majority to get what she wants. Even most of the department staff are male - and although most of them seem to overlook her, one professor in particular seems to appreciate her efforts.

She was raised by a cold, cruel, wealthy aunt after the passing of her parents at a young age. Any other family members are geographically distanced and estranged. All of her physical needs were met, but she was emotionally neglected. Anastasia spent the majority of her free time studying instead of playing and socializing like her peers, meaning she has been a bit lacking in the social department in her coming-up. Now she craves the interaction that has been missing from her life.

Lately, greater strides have been made to make a name for herself amongst her college while she comes out of her bubble. As far as 'romantic' relationships go, things have been exclusively casual.

She still has her aunt's resources, but they rarely converse outside of short necessities. Basically meaning - she has expendable money at her fingertips, but is void of a true support system.
