Xan the Man
Hi!
You can call me SS. They/them pronouns please.
I've been writing for a while now, seven years or so, and roleplay is actually how I initially developed my writing style. From there I moved to fanfiction, and that's primarily where I stretch my wings these days. However I do love original works too, and I've been missing that spark of connection that comes from sharing original ideas when roleplaying. Which is what has brought me here! On top of that, my muse has abandoned me since sometime around February and I'm trying to tempt it back into my life. I've got too many stories sitting unfinished for it to just up and quit on me like that.
Anyways, I write primarily in third-person. I used to use past tense only, but present has become my new favorite so I'm open to either. I've attempted second-person on occasion; it's an interesting experience but in roleplay it'd be a bit of an odd and experimental choice. And I don't typically go near first-person, sorry. As for reply length, I'm advanced but I'm not going to write you novels or anything. I tend to stick to two or three decent sized paragraphs. More if I'm feeling inspired, less if I'm stuck or just not feeling it.
So that's me! I'm still getting used to this site, but I think it's pretty neato so far. Should be able to have some fun!
