hello weary travelers! you can call me star, i have been writing for 8 years now :) i love story-rich, character-focused romance! looking for a long-term writing partner to really dive in deep with in terms of worldbuilding and plot details. my replies tend to be on the longer spectrum of things- between 500 and 1000 words on average and i would very much appreciate it if my writer partner was on the same wavelength. usually, i can reply three times a day, depending of course on the day (sometimes more, sometimes less). totally cool with gore as it makes sense for my more horror-focused plot ideas! not into gore without reason however. same goes for sexual content- yes, but i would like it to feel earned between our characters- something that builds up and acts as a natural consequence to the actions/paths our characters are taking. i much prefer writing original stories with original characters- sorry fandom lovers!
here is a list of plots i have thought out! open to additional collaboration <3
Battle of the Bands - Four bands enter: one will win this battle of the bands. To win, you need to follow the rules. Rule 1: Don't fall in love with your competition. Huge cast of characters and multiple pairings! Lighthearted, musical, and relying heavily on that found family trope.
My Roommate The Demon - Dedicated occult tries summoning a dream spirit as a last ditch effort to cure their chronic insomnia. It works, but they're really bad at their job. Small cast, romance focused with dark fantasy elements!
ps. i love you - Long-term anonymous pen pals meet in real life without realizing it and fall in love with each other all over again. A love triangle, but it's actually all the same person! Complicated planning required, medium cast, flexible amount of pairings, lots of angst (as well as flirting) through letters/emails.
Anyone But Them - Two total strangers from different kingdoms are forced into a political marriage after their centuries long war has finally come to an end. Each convinced the other is selfish and crass (as well as resenting them from taking away a future they had planned in their head, like alternative marital options), but could their bond be just what their kingdoms needs? Could they make each other better rulers? Are what they perceive as the others weaknesses just strengths they wish they had? Fantasy, fluff, strangers-to-enemies-to-friends-to-lovers.
Ghost Hunting Is Harder Than You Think Actually - A group of friends in college try out ghost hunting for the very first time as a way to avoid studying for their finals. How hard can it be? Turns out, very hard. Especially when you end up trapped in a creepy old manor where the paintings keep whispering. The ghosts are kinda cute tbh but they're also terrifying!!! Horror. angst, betrayal, maybe love? You decide!
Meet Cute - Two people start chatting on the bus as hit it off. They get off at the same stop because surprise surprise, they just met their new neighbor! Person A is a drag artist who's lived in the city for a long time. Person B is a tattoo artist that recently moved to this city to get away from their stalker ex. Heavy pining, slow burn, angst, friends to lovers!
