Hey, I'm Quirion, or Q either is fine. I've been writing since middle school. My interests are mainly in fantasy, horror and sci-fi, (mostly fantasy) but I don't limit myself to that. I've never done any roleplay outside of TTRPGS so, I'm a little intimidated. I'd say most of what I've written has been fantasy. I'm a huge fan of the early Magic The Gathering lore, specifically everything before the Alara block. So most of my worlds that I've written for TTRPG campaigns have a healthy mix of magic and fantasy/steam-punk adjecent technology. I'm a huge fan of group dynamics, and love when multiple characters from completely different walks of life are forced to stick with each other.
I'm new and have never done anything like this before, so I haven't exactly found out how long my average reply is. I have enough free time to write consistently but, will probably be most active on the weekend.
I have a pretty good stomach when it comes to gore and violence. I just don't like when it's OVERLY excessive, unless there's some literary reason to it. Or if it's excessive for comedic effect (IE: the blood geyser from army of darkness). As for sexual content, I've never written any but want to try. I'm definitely in the camp of plot over smut, but am not opposed to more horny stories especially if it's woven in well with the plot. I don't really have any hard limits aside from non-consensual stuff, however if it's alluded to as part of a backstory for a character it's fine.
I don't have any strong plot ideas as of yet. But I have a bunch ideas for characters and worldbuilding. Nothing definitive but, I would love to develop a setting with someone! I'm mainly just looking to start and get out there. If anyone has any interest in some of the stuff that I mentioned, or would has a story they think I can slot into please reach out! I'm excited to start writing!
