After spending weeks on what I have here, I feel like it's good to show now. Though I will still be working on it, adding, improving, polishing and all that.

In Montana, there is a small town called Lupine and at the four corners of the town are four packs of werewolves, each unique and different.

Silver Moon Pack: The big peacekeepers of all the werewolf packs. They believe that the moon goddess would disapprove of all her children fighting and bickering amongst each other over petty views and ideals… and that eventually, all of their in-fighting will lead to devastating misfortune for all of the packs.

Currently, their Alpha Wyatt Moonsong sits, elected by majority vote of the packs, in the seat of High Alpha. It is his job to make the really big decisions that involve all of the packs in the region as a whole.

Members of the Silver Moon Pack tend to have white to light blonde hair. It is very rare to see darker hair colors on them.

Because they hold the High Alpha seat, they bear the brunt of the political stress. They aren't just peaceful; they have to be the enforcers of peace, which can make them seem rigid or self-righteous to outsiders.

The Vibe: Regal, disciplined, and slightly burdened. Think a mix of a high-court council and a peacekeeping military.

Unique Traits: Due to their light hair and striking appearance, they often run the public-facing, high-profile jobs in Lupine (town council, law enforcement, legal systems) to subtly control the human-werewolf barrier.

Internal Conflict: The Burden of Perfection. Wyatt Moonsong is trying to keep a lid on a boiling pot. Younger members of the Silver Moon pack might be growing tired of "turning the other cheek" to the Blood Moon's provocations, leading to a secret, more aggressive faction within their own ranks.

Culture/Tradition: The Luna Truce. Once a month, they host a neutral-ground gathering. They are obsessed with diplomacy, tea rituals, and historical archives.

Blood Moon Pack: The Blood Moon Pack believe that werewolves' great strength, speed, senses and stamina make them the superior species. While they do not actively try to instigate or orchestrate opportunities for brutality and bloodshed, they are not afraid of using violence to exert their dominance.

They think that unless a human turns out to be their destined mate hand chosen by the moon goddess, then humans are just weak and frail liability scum. They will join the other packs in protecting humans when the need calls for it, but they won’t be nice about it and they don’t care how that makes them look. They are out to strengthen their pack and prove they are the pack truly worthy of leading all the others; Their goal is to one day see their Alpha in the seat of High Alpha, calling all the big pack wide shots.

Their philosophy stems from a place of intense pride and a desire for survival. They view the Silver Moon's peace as a weakness that will eventually get them all killed by human hunters or supernatural threats.

The Vibe: Raw, athletic, competitive, and fiercely loyal to one another.

Unique Traits: They are the pack most likely to have scars used as badges of honor. They run the blue-collar, high-exertion industries in Lupine: mechanic shops, logging companies, and local gyms.

Culture/Tradition: The Trial of Fangs. Alpha status isn't just inherited; it's constantly earned through physical challenges. They value strength, but they also value results. The pressure put on the current Alpha's heir to strive to be worthy is unreal.

Harvest Moon Pack: This pack tries to stay out of pack drama as much as possible. Their only wish is to be left to themselves and be allowed to just cultivate and enrich the land that the moon goddess’s light shines upon.

Most of the farms in the region are actually run by Harvest Moon Pack families.

It also goes without saying, never underestimate the quiet ones. While they avoid drama, they hold the ultimate leverage: they control the food supply. If the Harvest Moon pack goes on strike, the other packs starve.

The Vibe: Warm, rustic, grounded, but fiercely territorial. Think rugged flannels, calloused hands, and a deep connection to the earth.

Unique Traits: They have an uncanny, almost supernatural green thumb. Their wolves are built for endurance and heavy lifting rather than blinding speed.

Internal Conflict: Caught in the Middle. Because they border both the town and the deeper wilderness, they often find their lands trespassed on by Blood Moon scouts or used as hiding places. They are pacifists until you step on their crops, and a furious farmer wolf is a terrifying thing.

Culture/Tradition: The Feast of First Fruits. A massive autumn festival where they share their bounty with the town (both human and wolf). It’s the one time they tolerate everyone else's nonsense.

Blue Moon Pack:

Positioned in the quiet, old-growth western forests where the canopy is dense but the clearings are wide.

This is probably the most mysterious and withdrawn of the packs. They live in a small woodland village near the big town and they do not often come out among the humans.

They are a mystical and spiritual lot, they are skilled in the art of divination using the moon and the stars.

Most times you ever really see them is when they discover something important to bring before the High Alpha.

The Vibe: Zen, scholarly, and deeply serene. Think of a prestigious, cloistered academy or a highly disciplined monastery, but for werewolves. They value silence, deep observation, and absolute clarity of mind. They don't hoard technology, but they aren't ignorant of it; they simply prefer the timeless reliability of ink, paper, and glass.

The Headquarters: The Whispering Grove Village. A beautifully designed settlement of simple, elegant timber-frame longhouses and cabins made from local cedar.

Every building features a flat, open-air rooftop platform or a wide skylight designed specifically for stargazing and nocturnal study.

The center of the village holds the Aether Dome, a beautifully crafted, open-air stone amphitheater with a polished black floor that reflects the night sky perfectly, used by the Seers for mass divinations.

The Craft (Divination & Seers): They are the undisputed masters of the cosmic arts. By tracking the exact geometry of the stars and the fluid phases of the moon, they can read the shifting tides of luck, danger, and fate.

This pack is unique because the Moon Goddess routinely blesses them with true Seers and Mystics—wolves born with the rare gift of second sight, prophetic dreams, and the ability to read the spiritual aura of others.

Their Role in Lupine: They act as the ultimate advisors. They rarely interfere in town drama, but when a Blue Moon Seer walks out of the woods to speak with High Alpha Wyatt, everyone stops and listens. They don't bring vague riddles; they bring precise, calm warnings about things that haven't happened yet.

The Four Corners Dynamics: How They Interact

Here is a comprehensive breakdown of how these four packs view one another and how they interact when their paths cross in Lupine.

Core Interaction Scenarios

1. High Alpha Councils (The Luna Truce)

  • The Dynamic: Silver Moon hosts these at the Silver Moon Alpha Estate to handle regional issues.
  • The Interaction: Silver Moon drives the agenda, trying to keep order. Blood Moon sits back, scowling like grumpy teenagers scolded for being too loud, actively questioning Wyatt’s decisions and looking for political weakness. Harvest Moon representatives usually sit near the back, checking their watches, wanting to get back to their farms, and only speaking up if taxes, borders, or trade are threatened. Blue Moon arrives late, completely silences the room with a single cosmic update or warning, and leaves early.
2. Economic Clashes in the Town of Lupine
  • The Dynamic: Day-to-day business at mechanics shops, logging sites, and markets.
  • The Interaction: Blood Moon wolves run the heavy logging, mechanical labor and the bar, often trying to intimidate the Harvest Moon farmers who come into town to sell goods. However, Harvest Moon holds the ultimate leverage; if a Blood Moon wolf gets too aggressive, the Harvest Moon pack will simply cut off their supply of organic materials or hike up prices at the local co-op. Silver Moon cops keep a hawk-eye on these interactions from across the street, ready to intervene before claws come out. Blue Moon rarely participates, though a lone mystic might occasionally visit the local herbalist shop, causing everyone else in the store to go dead quiet out of sheer aura-check intimidation.

The Town Itself and mentionable locations:

Lupine, Montana, is a town caught perfectly in time. Nestled in a deep valley surrounded by dramatic peaks and dense timber, it has a population that hovers just around 3,500 people. It avoids the "backwater" trope by being remarkably clean, architecturally striking, and economically stable—largely because the four packs secretly ensure the town thrives.

It feels like a picturesque mountain postcard, where modern amenities exist seamlessly alongside a cultural code that feels a century old.

The Town Atmosphere & Culture
  • The "Everyone Knows Everyone" Reality: In Lupine, your business is everyone’s business. If a teenager skips school or a tire flatlines on the side of the road, three people will have called their parents or pulled over with a jack before the hour is out. For the human population, it’s charmingly tight-knit; for the wolves, it’s a delicate game of keeping their secrets hidden in plain sight.
  • Semi-Old-Fashioned Manners: Chivalry and respect are non-negotiable here. People still tip their hats, hold doors, and look you dead in the eye when they shake your hand. "Sir" and "Ma'am" are standard vocabulary. A slight or a broken promise carries massive social weight. This old-school honor system suits the werewolf packs perfectly, as it mirrors their own internal concepts of respect, hierarchy, and word-of-honor.
  • The Gossip Pipeline: News travels faster than cell service in the valley. The local diner, the hardware store, and the feed co-op act as the town’s information hubs. If a stranger rolls into town, the entire population knows within twenty minutes.
Key Locations in Lupine

The Copper Kettle Diner & Bakery

The undisputed social heart of Lupine. It’s a warm, wood-paneled establishment with neon signs, smelling permanently of fresh cinnamon rolls and dark roast coffee.

  • The Vibe: This is neutral territory. On any given morning, you can find Harvest Moon farmers discussing grain prices at the counter while Blood Moon mechanics grab greasy breakfast burritos in a booth near the back.
  • The Rule: The human owner, a sweet but no-nonsense woman named Clara, doesn't tolerate shouting or coarse language. Even the most hot-headed Blood Moon enforcer will immediately quiet down and say "Yes, ma'am" if Clara catches them glaring across the room.
The Lupine Sheriff’s Department
A handsome, stone-and-timber building on Main Street. The local law enforcement is exceptionally competent—partly because it is heavily staffed by Silver Moon wolves (including the Sheriff himself).

  • The Vibe: Safe and orderly. Because the Silver Moon pack runs the department, any "animal attacks" or weird supernatural occurrences are immediately intercepted, covered up, and handled internally before the human deputies or the state police can get suspicious.
Blackwood Timber & Logistics
Situated on the southern edge of town, this sprawling lumber yard and commercial garage is the primary employer for the town’s blue-collar sector.

  • The Vibe: Loud, gritty, and fiercely competitive. It’s owned and operated by the Blood Moon pack. The human workers love it because the pay is fantastic and the Voss family protects their own, but outsiders find the atmosphere incredibly intense. The physical competitions here—like competitive wood-chopping or engine-pulling—are legendary.

The Iron Fang Tavern (Blood Moon Pack)
Located on the jagged southern edge of Lupine, just down the road from the Blackwood Timber yard.

  • The Vibe: Loud, smoky, and intensely masculine, but with a strict, old-school code of honor. Built out of heavy, dark logs with industrial iron accents, it’s a blue-collar bar featuring pool tables, a massive dartboard area, and a roaring jukebox playing classic rock and outlaw country.
  • The Role in Town: This is where the locals go to blow off serious steam after a grueling day of physical labor. It serves incredibly hearty food—mostly massive plates of steak, ribs, and local game. While it feels intimidating to outsiders, the Blood Moon pack keeps the peace in their own rugged way. If someone treats a bartender with disrespect or starts a sloppy, dishonorable fight, they are immediately and physically thrown through the front doors by an enforcer.
  • The Wolf Secret: The basement beneath the heavy oak floorboards houses a soundproofed, subterranean training ring. While humans are upstairs drinking beers and playing pool, younger Blood Moon wolves are often downstairs engaged in grueling, blood-pumping sparring matches to blow off steam or settle internal pack disputes before they can spill over into the town's public spaces.

The Hearth & Harvest Inn (Harvest Moon Pack)

Located on the eastern entrance of town, where Main Street transitions into the rolling farmlands.
  • The Vibe: Exceptionally warm, cozy, and deeply hospitable. It’s a massive, beautifully preserved three-story fieldstone and timber bed-and-breakfast. Sweeping wraparound porches feature rocking chairs, and the stone fireplaces bleed a comforting scent of burning applewood throughout the property.
  • The Role in Town: This is where the town’s semi-old-fashioned manners truly shine. The Harvest Moon family that runs it treats every guest like royalty. It features a legendary dining hall that serves massive, family-style farm-to-table dinners every night, utilizing the freshest ingredients from the pack’s crops.
  • The Wolf Secret: It is the ultimate safe house. Because the Harvest Moon pack values sanctuary and peace above all else, the Inn is strictly neutral territory under their absolute protection. If an injured wolf or a terrified human fleeing trouble manages to cross the threshold of the Hearth & Harvest, no one—not even a furious Blood Moon Alpha—will dare violate the hospitality laws of the house to drag them out. Doing so would mean facing the collective, quiet wrath of the entire agricultural sector.

The Valley Co-Op & Farmers Market
A massive, bustling complex on the eastern edge of Main Street where the town transitions into farmland.

  • The Vibe: Rustic, vibrant, and prosperous. Managed by the Harvest Moon pack, this is where the town buys its fresh produce, dairy, and artisanal goods. It features a massive weekend market that brings the entire community together. The Harvest Moon pack uses this space to keep a pulse on the town’s economy and ensure the human families are well-fed and taken care of.

The Starlight Archive
A quiet, narrow shop tucked away down a cobblestone alley off Main Street. It sells rare books, high-quality stationery and local maps.

  • The Vibe: Dead silent, smelling of old paper, lavender, and cedarwood. The shop is rarely busy, but it remains open. It’s secretly run by a rotating pair of Blue Moon pack members. While humans think it’s just an eccentric bookstore, the other packs know it’s a drop-point. If a pack needs to leave an urgent, confidential message for the Seers, they slide a sealed envelope across the dark oak counter.

The Unspoken Town Law

Because the community is so tight-knit, the human and werewolf worlds are deeply intertwined, even if the humans don't know it. A human schoolteacher might be mentoring a Silver Moon pup; a Harvest Moon wolf might be best friends with a human mechanic.

This creates a unique unspoken rule among all four packs: Protect the Town First. No matter how much the Silver Moon and Blood Moon packs despise each other's philosophies, if an outside threat endangers the peaceful, polite old-fashioned bubble of Lupine, all four corners will violently close in to protect it.
