Hello there, and thank you for having me, I'm very excited having found this site. I came here looking to play mainly dark fantasy or d&d-like type of adventures, set in a world filled of locations, creatures and lore taken from the Dark Souls and other Hidetaka Miyazaki games, without really touching the more important aspects of the lore though, but rather as in side-story adventures.
I play a former knight of Carim who lives tavern-to-tavern off quests rewards. Here is a little introduction:
"Adventure isn't really my trade. Unfortunately, in heart, I am a knight. And being one is what I do best.
Lately, however, not having even a single squire under my liege has proven inconvenient. Equipment and injuries pile up and it's just a pain.
But ultimately, it is simply boring...
As a former knight of Carim, I can't do without my pocket maid. Human, elf, goblin... hell, a ghost even. And whatever your job, be it healer or squire, witch or herbalist, I'll take it. As long as you make yourself usable."
It may seem that I'm looking for a supporting character but quite the opposite, mine plays best when he is aiding a maiden on her quest, even when he can be quite undesirable towards them.
That said, I'm willing to play into other's settings and verses, and I can port my knight to victorian/steampunk or some alternate-earth worlds. He will always be on full armor and be a bit of a jerk, while looking for his maiden, that's just who he is.
