My character Belle Lafontaine, originally from France, but came to the UK to attend university as a means to try and escape the worst of the stigma placed upon her family.

Family of old money fallen from grace extra hard, due to the reputation earned from the son falling prey to a fanatical group of blood supremistists and murdering a small muggleborn family as his 'initiation'.
Being so close with his sister before he met this group, he tells her everything, thinking he could recruit her... horrified, Belle turned him in. It hurt, but she knew it was the right thing to do. She is now afraid of what her brother might do if he ever gets out of Azkaban and worried his freaky cult might take an interest in finding her for revenge.
Students at Hogwarts however, do not make this transition easy for Belle, given that rumors about the murders in France and the current uprising of new blood supremistists, which makes things worse for her, people thinking that with she and her brother being twins after all, cut from the same cloth... surely, she cannot be trusted either.
