Hi! I feel like I maybe have room in my life for one more RP at the moment, so I thought I'd throw some ideas out there to see if anyone's interested. They're all fairly vague because I like plotting with other people, but I should say up front that I'm not interested in romantic pairings--sorry! But if you're up for exploring some other dynamics, read onnn... :)

1.) Tropey modern slice-of-life, but make it aroace
Inspired in part by the webcomic And Another Lovely Day, I'm imagining it would be fun to explore what happens when some of the classic romance tropes are applied to a pair of aromatic/asexual characters. Especially interested in something winter/holiday-themed.

2.) A Vampire and Their Thrall
I'd love to see a Good character (i.e. a paladin in a fantasy setting or, my preference, a priest/nun/other religious person in a 19th-century or modern setting) become the enthralled servant/henchperson of a seemingly amoral vampire. I'd like to see said Good character be made to do various deeds they would normally be super against doing, and then feel all guilt-ridden and existential crisis-y about it. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, but I'm also imagining the Good character eventually realizing they secretly deep down maybe like? some of the things they're being made to do, and/or developing complicated feelings for the vampire making them do this stuff. Befitting the sub-forum in which I'm posting this, I'm not looking for any kind of sexual anything between these characters, but some weird, unspoken psychosexual tensions could be fun to explore. Bonus points if there's an element of silliness to this whole situation. Not quite What We Do in Shadows level, but also not super dark and serious. Oh, and I'd be down for playing the Good character, but we can talk about it.

3.) Vague slice-of-life fantasy plot
I've barely given this any thought but have a vague craving for something comfy and wintry, possibly with a world-weary wanderer stopping by a cozy village for some tea and sympathy etc. I'll probably be pretty picky with this plot, but maybe we can come up with something cool. :)

Other stuff:
Looking to write with people 30+, please
Down for playing as/against characters of any gender, though I'd love for them to have some sort of (gender) queerness going on. Not really interested in stereotypical gender roles or conventional attractiveness
My posts tend to be between 500-1500 words, and I try not to let a week go by without replying
No AI anything please
