Road Home and Outside Buildings

The road home is a smooth paved road, with twist and turns and other things. Theres a couple houses scattered about along the way. A handful of crop feilds as well. Though an hour and 1/2 from the entrance of the family property is nothing but empty land.

The entrance to the private road is marked by a tall wrought iron arch way, with a polished looking wooden sign which simply reads "The Homestead" in a burned simplistic script. There is a large gate on this fence, thought typically its chained open. The lock is a simple padlock and the chain is of a sturdy build. Along with the two lane private road, having black iron "horse fences" as they were called as far as the eye could see on both sides. Off in the far west, is what looks like a massive forest. It to seems to go on for miles and miles.

There are 4 rather large and spaced out buildings on the property. Two of them are painted in the traditional "Barn" colors. While the others are all painted a bright yellow, there trimmings though, are all painted different colors. There's also three rather large green houses as well.

The house..okay so mansion might be a better word. Is rather long, and it stands three stories high, plus an attic. It's styled in a rather simplistic way. With a screened in wrap around porch. The whole house is painted a light shade of blue, with the trimmings on it painted white. Five, very old looking and chalk drawing covered steps lead up to the double screen doors of the wrap around porch. Infront of the porch steps, is a dirt road. This road splits off to lead to all the outside buildings.

Stable:
The stable is in a simple style of an average stable. With two tack rooms and two large wash rooms for the horses. Along with one small wash/mudroom for the humans. There are 14 stalls, seven on each side. Outside are corals and hot walkers. Along with a extremly large fenced off area for the horses to gaze and rest.

Barn Houses:
Just your average barn houses, nothing special about them. One is for the sheep, alpaca and lamas. The other is for the chickens, ducks, and three geese.

Green Houses:
Your average large green houses. One holds cooking herbs and plants. The other holds flowers and other plants for making medicinal items. The third is for pretty flowers to place on graves and other places to spruce them up.

The Porch( Front and Back) and Entry Area:
The porch is adorned with wicker furniture that have flower pattern cushions. Is flooring is a clearly worn but sturdy honey color. In the far curving corner, a classic hammock hangs tied to two post. The main double doors are made of dark wood, with each having a stain glass family coat of arms on them.

Inside the home(entry way) itself, the hard word flooring is the color of golden honey mead. There is a five inch step, which leads to the main floor. Inside the door area, there are shoebox sized baskets, with name tags on them. Three sets of double, castle like doors line the left side of the grand entry. They are made of dark oak, and have intricate carvings on them. These doors are very spaced out though, and in-between them, the walls are not bare.

Those walls are lined with pictures, All of them depicting happy memories, with several different people in them. There are also tapestries on the walls of mythical beasts. Unicorns, Phenioxes, Dragons, and others. Some even have the Faerie on them. The right side also has pictures. Along with several framed works of art. Ranging from being made by children to more expertise styles.

There is a large gap in right wall through, which leads to long and rather wide hallway. This particular one is lined with doors on both sides. All of them different colors, with signs hanging on every door. Then, still on the right wall, and near the end of the entry way. There are two steel colored, modern looking double doors. With a porthole style window on each door. They are propped wide open, with some medium sized brightly painted rocks.

The lighting of the entry way is high above, several built into the ceiling lights. At the very end of the entry way, are a set of double doors, excatily the same as the front doors.

Kitchen
It's fairly large, but it has a homey look to it. The floor is the classic white and black checkerboard of old diners. The walls are painted a soft yellow color, well what can be seen on them. On the left side of the kitchen is a bay style window seat. Its cushioning is a soft blue with flower patterns all over it.

The counter tops, are back granite. They run from the kitchens left side door. Which leads out to the porch. To the kitchen's other door, at the far back. This door is painted a grey color and has bright red painted words on it. Which says this:

"WARNING this door leads to the Larder, Spice hold, Basements and More! Remember bring your walkie talkies and map! Make sure to take a pack lunch if your going to be gone for a few hours! Bring WATER!! Don't end up like Mr.Bojangles."

Above and below the counter tops, and running just as long as them are cabinets and drawers. They are painted a cream color, with simple small knob handles. They also have pictures painted on them. Some have pictures of dishes, some glasses, quite a handful have spice containers painted on them. A small handful have various food storage containers painted on them. Most of the bottom cabinets have pots and pans on them. While the drawers have paintings of cooking utensils and silverware. A couple of drawers though, have no pictures. They do however have letters, which spell out the word "Junk".

There is also a large two basin chrome sink, and two matching color dishwashers side by side. These are on an island in the center of the kitchen.Which has a small bit of counter top around it, and a large enough counter top to sit four people comfortably in front of it. On the far wall are two sets of 4 burner stoves with built in ovens and microwaves. The microwaves are above the stove tops.

Taking up the whole right side wall are three built in, double door fridge and freezer combos. The fridges being on top and the freezers on bottom. They are aso chrome in color and they have white boards on their doors. Which list what is inside each one.

The Side Hallway:
This hallway, is the one told of on the side of the entry way. Doors line both the left and right of this hallway. The walls between the doors are native american style nicknacks. Mainly paintings of natives, along with some very old looking maps showing territory lines. Each door is the same color. Each door has either one of a few painted on them in words. Which tells whoever is walking by whats in the rooms. Example:Spare Bedroom(1), Coat Closet, Costume Room, Dojo and ect. Hanging on the doors, underneath the painted words are signs. These signs are simple and made of what looks to be sturdy plastic type material. One side of every sign has a large green check mark, while the other side has a big red X.

All spare bedrooms have their own half bathrooms. There are four full bathrooms, with showers and bathtubs. In varying styles along this hallway. Two are on the right and two are on the left.

Family Living Room:
The living room. It's a rather large room. It's hard wood flooring, a shade darker then that of the grand entry way. The walls are painted sky blue with vertical silver stripes. There are four couches, they are grey and blue striped. There are six pale yellow clothed antique style wing back chairs, scattered about the room. Each couch has at least end table on one side of it. Chairs also have small end tables by them. Each one matches the wood of the flooring. They also have decorative hand made doilies on them.

There are three old fashion rocking chair in the room as well, they rest near the front of the grand fire place. The grand fire place is as tall as ray and is as wide as hikaru is tall. The hearth is a foot wide, and a 7 feet long. It's made of marble. In front of it, is a semi-large Persian style rug. It's colors are blue, yellow and lavender. On either side of it, sit guitars on their stands. One is a electric guitar, painted a bright metallic blue with white. The other is a regular guitar, made of gorgeous rosewood. On the mantel sit pictures in medium sized picture frames. One of ray and her brothers mother and father, on their wedding day. Two of their grandparents on both their maternal and fraternal side. There's also a picture of a regal and old looking pitbull. With a baby ray, hair full of wispy red curls, curled up against him, looking at said dog with utter adoration.

There are two walk in closest. One on either side of the fire place. One door is painted with black and white diagonal stripes. The other is painted pale yellow with white diagonal stripes. All along the rest of the walls are book shelves, scattered about of course. 5 shelves tall, and are filled with books. Some of them look ancients. Some of them are obviously music books. The only wall that doesn't have the scattered book shelves is the far left wall. It has four, spaced out, cathedral style windows. They are short though, and have plain glass in them. In-between the middle two. Sits a black, customized baby grand piano. Which can do quiet a few functions that a electric one can. It has a matching bench, all of that sits on a deep blue rug with a star pattern on it. The far right wall, which faces the back part of the wrap around porch has two semi large, more ordinary style windows. Which open by sliding.

Garage:
The garage: A building nearly as tall as the house. It's made out of concrete, and had the picture of a large wrench and hammer criss crossing on it's side. It's got five large brown bay doors, which are pulled up and down by chains. Inside sit 8 vehicles. One for each sibling, plus a old work truck, which is usually used to haul hay and what not for the animals. Lining one wall are tall tool boxes, each painted a different color, with names on them. There is either one, or two per sibling. There are three which are for everyone. Though those three typically hold, old more worn out tools and other bricka braka. Ray has four of her own, made to fit her height. Painted royal blue with yellow stripes. Along the longest wall, which doesn't hold the doors. Is a working counter top.

Made of concrete, it also has cabinets. Just like with the kitchen cabinets, it has paintings. Showing what is in each one. All over the walls, are metal posters. Advertisements for cars and other automobile necessities dating back several years. Theres even a few rather old looking ones, advertising the Ford Model T Car line. Along the wall, next to the large side door to the garage. Is a line of eleven school style cubbies, but made for the height of an adult. Except for one. Each cubbie has a hook, which hangs a mechanics pull over. One for each sibling, two, have spare pull overs. The very last one, is a rather large cubby, it holds their now deceased parent's pull overs and respective riding/cruising gear. Left just the way they have always been. On the bottom of each cubby, are a pair of steel toed boots. Ranging in color and condition. The ones for the guest/loaners are relatively new.

Ray's Car:
1970 LS6 SS454 Chevelle. Once the project car and pride and joy of her and her mother. Ray has worked tirelessly since coming home, to get the car in perfect running condition with all stock parts. Though she rarely ever drives it herself. She felt honor bound to get the old girl up and running. Run she does. With a 112-inch wheelbase. With its wider track and big Polyglas tires, the SS454 can handle almost as well as it can accelerate. Designated RPO Z15 delivers a 450 horsepower, 454 cubic inch solid lifter behemoth that cranks out 500 lbs.-ft. of torque. Painted metallic blue with two white "stereo stripes". The interior is black leather with blue detailing.

Chubby's Diner:
Grease the movie style diner. Black and white checkered floor. The booths and chairs all have sparkly blue, red or green vinyl with white trimmings. The table tops are black with a slight sparkle to them. There's a long "bar" top, with swivel "bar" style stools firmly screwed to the floor of course. The seat cushion match the other furniture. What can be seen of the walls color is a warm inviting yellow. The rest of it is literally covered in old music memorabilia. Vinyl record cases, pictures of musicians, posters for old shows. Some are even autographed! There's a small counter top/glass case where spare menus and the register sit. Inside the case is even more memorabilia. Including a signed vinyl case of Frank Sinatra's music. There's even an old style jukebox, which of course is sprused up with the latest tech. Though the song selection is limited to older music, to keep with the restaurant's atmosphere. It sits in the far right corner on it own. With a sign on the wall above it. "Put a nickle in this ol' nickelodeon! Keep the music playing'!" Lyrics from a classic oldies song. It's always softly playing music. Unless someone does play it, then the music gets turned up a bit louder. Not to loud of course. Classic diner food is served at this fine establishments. Along with the best milkshakes and malts in town of course! The parking lot is semi-large and on weekends and Fridays is packed to the brim!

City/Town:
A town which would be considered a "medium" size even though it is a port town. There's the typical buildings. Court house, library so on and so forth. Theirs a old fashion diner, the kind you'd see in the times of the movie grease. Where Edwins works. This place is called Chubby's it's a local hot spot. Of course the main street has all the little boutiques and what not. Akira's small shop is on said street. There's a movie theater too and even a bowling alley! Along with a rather large casino further inland. Near by it is a very classy club called "Timeless". The place gives off a rather "rich people place" vibe.

Ray's Bedroom and Bathroom:
Her room is the attic, it doesn't have a slopped roof, it's roofing is flat. it's door hidden behind two massive tapestries. Which are the family trees for the Donahue's and O'Malley's. Said door leads to a small six step spiral stair well. Which stop at a door painted in rainbow and black stripes. The sign hanging from it reads "DO NOT BOTHER ME!" In bold red letters. Inside the base color of her room is pale yellow. Though, only a bit of that is seen. Since hanging on the walls, are small handful framed posters, of some of her favorite anime characters, and book characters. A handful of band posters as well. Along with maybe four or five family photos, all of them have her, and her brothers in it. For whatever reason though, none of them had their parents in it, and none of them seemed to have been taken before she first came home. Around all of those are paintings,of rainbow roses. Along with small and medium tapestries depicting several different mythological scenes, of several different mythologies.

Along with the pictures and other small shelves lined with brickabracka. A bit higher on her walls, are a handful or orientate swords, and knives. One semi-large iron battle axe, and one silver-plated bow, with peacock feather arrows in a matching quiver. There are also three large circle windows in the room as well. One on each side of her room, which are simple windows. The third is a ways above her bed, it's stain glass. The stain glass is a medium sized rose window, in rainbow colors. When the sun shines through them just right, it sets the room a light with color. She has two walk-in closest, both doors are painted white. One has crystal door knobs, while the other is black. Between these closet, is a short, Bare, or ballet practice bar. Clearly hand made and well used, judging by the scuff marks on it.

She has her own personal bathroom as well, which is painted to look like a fantasy mermaids cove. It has a toilet of course, along with a vanity style sink fit for one person. With an old fashioned clawfoot foot tub and a five person shower, with a bench. Above all of that, in the main part of her room. On her ceiling is painted the night sky. With her favorite constellations on it. Orion the hunter, dog minor, dog major, the bull, the dragon, the swan, the crab, the big bear.

Between the bathroom door and the rooms left window. Is a low and small table, with a 6-1 music player on it. {Vinyl, CD, Radio, Cassette, Auxilary plug in for for mp3 players, a-track.} On either side of the table are three foot tall speakers, which said 6-1 player is hooked up to. Ray doesn't like to do any cleaning, or really much of anything, without some music in the background. Be it loud or soft. All her vinyls, cds, and what not are in the closet with the black door knobs.

There are also three, five drawer dressers in the room. There is one near by each closet and one is close to the Bare. Each one is painted pale yellow with different colored polka dots. Black, White and oddly enough, seafoam green. Her bed is king sized and has very simple sheets on it, in pale blue. With a clearly old, slightly faded handmade quilt a top it. On either side of the bed are simple white end tables with small drawers. A top one is a Victorian style tiffany brand table lamp. On the other is an old fashion alarm clock.

All in all, it is a lovely, and bright room. Perhaps even a bit childish. Though ray herself, intends to keep it this way. Since nothing in the room, has really changed since she was little. Besides the fact, of her now having her king sized bed and some added rickabraka aout the room.

A fairly large building, rectangular in shape. It is two stories tall. It's outside is made of sturdy red brick. A simple huge Neon sign in bright pink, is on the front of the building. Letting people know the name of the establishment. It rest just about four feet above the luxurious black awning which covers the front space of the building and also goes down the five mock marble steps. Keeping people dry as they enter the dance hall/club.

The entryway has a large set of double doors painted a deep red. Both of them have the establishment's name painted on them in gold coloring. Two doormen/bouncers are always stationed at these doors. Once inside there is a short hallway before fully entering the club. The flooring is of dark wood with a plush red carpet on it. The walls are also of dark wood. They have gas style lights on them, which are of course electric for safety purposes. The coat room is here along with a marquee. Who guides people to private rooms, if they have rented them for the evening.

To the far left side of the hall, is a massive bar, made of dark colored wood. Bottles and bottles of more liquor than can count on hands and feet. Line the back wall of the bar. Glasses hang above, casting a soft rainbow light onto the sleek dark wood bar top. Behind the bar top is the kitchen. Where appetizers and some entrees are made. The establishment's menu is not too extensive. Though what they do make here is amazing food! They also have a few vegetarian choices. There is a medium sized area with a handful of tall tables and bar stools along with four simple booths. Along with two "big" style booths. All of the leather on this furniture is matching black with bronze accents. Right by the bar top.

Black leather seats are placed all around the edge of the bottom floor. There are also some oak wood coffee style tables here and there too. Food is allowed at these seats, though people tend to migrate to the tall tables and booths if hey have entrees.

On the far right of the hall, is a stage large enough to fit a full sized "Big Band". It's made of the same wood as the bar and bar top. There are red velvet vintage style curtains, which are usually shut, unless a band or performer is on stage. There is a black finely polished baby grand piano on stage. Which can be wheeled about and moved to fit anyone's needs. This stage has two small side stairways, which are six steps high. There's also a long "catwalk" that can be moved out from the center of the stage. It extends half way along the dance floor when it is pulled out.

The "center" of the building is the dance floor. It's made of well polished honey colored wood. With a edging of darker wood. It's simple but it does it's job well.

The second floor of the building is a spacious balcony. Which goes all around the building conforming perfectly with the building shape. There are three stairways to this second floor. they're all spiral in style. Two are at the far corner of the building and the other is closest to the far end of the at top. They have plush red velvet carpet for the flooring. The railing all around the balcony is ornately carved. Probably antique, and of very dark wood, polished to a perfect shine. A dazzling and quiet large Crystal chandelier hangs in the center of the high beam ceiling. It's wood matching perfectly to the railing. There are quite a few black leather armchairs and loveseats, with gold subtle embellishment on them. Scattered about along with a handful of dark wood low coffee tables, with empty crystal ashtrays on them.

There are also curtains which match the ones on stage, though these are black in color. Which can be pulled to completely close off the balcony. There are Three "main" bathrooms in the main part of the building. Each bathroom has four stalls and four sinks. While the rentable rooms have their own half baths. There are five rentable rooms. Two are for smaller parties while the other three are more like business conference rooms.

Each normal "conference" room has a dark wood oval table with matching chairs all around. One rooms chair cushions are deep red, the other is royal blue and the last is a deep evergreen. The two smaller rooms are more styled like karaoke rooms. With black leather gold accented couches instead of chairs. Along with 20's style sitting ottomans. Each room has a rotary phone, which can be used to call the bar or to make outgoing calls as well.

Each room is lit by either four or six gas style lamps which are electric.
