Major Historical Events: The death of King Alzareth III marked the start of the new era and the beginning of the war. There is still some suspicion surrounding his death, with many people thinking it wasn't natural or an accident.
Current Year & Political Climate: Year 14 AC. The country is currently politically divided, being ruled by two separate houses fighting for the throne.
Government & Rulers: Ithmyr has always been an absolute monarchy until the last ruler, King Alzareth III, died suddenly. Currently, House Virelion, led by the king's only legitimate daughter Serenya, has control of Western Ithmyr. On the Eastern half of Ithmyr, House Caerwyn rules, being led by the king's nephew, Varis Carewynn, whom many believe is the rightful heir.

  • Midsummer Festival – Occurs during the full moon of Goldsun. It's a joyful day of feasting, sun dances, and matchmaking. Offerings are made to those who follow Rosavyn.
  • Harvest Feast – Takes place in Amberfall, giving thanks for the bounty of the land. Towns offer communal meals. Offerings are made to those who follow Viridiel and Helthar.
  • Night of Veils – A mysterious festival in Duskrime, where people wear masks and share secrets. It honors fate, dreams, and lost souls. Offerings are made to those who follow Nyxiir.
  • The Great Tides – Celebrated at the peak of Rainmere, especially in coastal regions. It marks the sea's power and grace with sea rituals and offerings to Temperion, for those who follow him.
