Build: Ro is strong from functional movement. Soft curves. She can lift heavy boxes, but isn't a warrior or waif. She enjoys a nice sweet treat when she wants it.

Hair: Light brown, wavy, to her waist. Usually down or in a messy bun. Not unusual to find sprigs of herbs tucked in the strands.

Light freckles scattered across her cheeks. Laugh lines are beginning to form at the corners of her eyes. Dark lashes.

Markings and tattoos: small scars from pruning plants on her hands. Botanical sleeve on her right arm, though it's usually covered with long sleeves. Various other botanical tattoos, though primarily on her right side.

Nervous Tics and Habits: fiddles with fabric, fidget toys, etc. Struggles to stay still when anxious. On rougher ADHD days, struggles to slow down her thoughts and can trip over her words.

Style:
soft goth. Collects Docs, and absolutely cherishes her Wild Botanics curb stompers. If she’s not wearing black, it’s likely dark green. Maybe dark blue. Ro favors practical clothing, but has a weakness for a good black dress. Usually though, she’s wearing some combination of leggings and shorter skirt, or dark jeans. She tries not to collect too many clothes, but they’re a weakness. Jewelry is subtle. Only pure silver, or rose gold, with minimal stones. Rings on several fingers, and delicate necklaces. Her makeup is mostly minimal, due to time. Mascara. Maybe eye liner. If she’s feeling fancy, a good, vampy red lip. Her nails are stained green from her work, so they’re usually covered in black polish.



Personality: Ro is genuine. She doesn’t like causing distress or discomfort. She’s a conflicted mess of ADHD extroversion and hedge witch solitude seeking. She is interested in people, and frequently reminds herself to stay out of messy situations, despite a desire to know what’s going on. She tries to be fairly steady, but if pushed or stressed, can pop off, then instantly feels guilty. Tends to give off big sister vibes when she thinks someone needs help, which can annoy others.

Background:
Ro has always been a primarily solitary witch. She does not consider herself a member of any coven, though she tries to be on good terms with the local witch communities wherever she lives. She grew up an only child, to older parents. Attended human schools, while receiving magical education from her hedge witch mother. Her father is human and extremely ordinary. He teaches history at a local community college, and collects trains as a hobby. Ro attributes her ADHD to his side, which is highly likely. Her mother runs the community garden.


Other:
Ro loves music, plants, cooking, and sensory everything. She frequently has either music or an audiobook playing to help her focus on her work.
Her favorite movie is Kiki’s Delivery Service, because “It’s surprisingly accurate to the witch world”
She loves coffee, spicy food, good smells, carbs. She doesn’t eat meat. Played soccer in high school, and took every dance class she could. Diagnosed with ADHD at a young age. Ro has trouble saying no, and has a healthy dose of anxiety. Has been in therapy for several years. She’s pretty conflict avoidant when it’s related to herself, but feels pulled to get involved when others are being hurt. Secretly a hopeless romantic, while hating the dating scene. And of course, she has a cat.

Scar on her ribs. She claims it’s from being stabbed. In reality, it’s from an accident playing hockey as a kid. Pierced ears, usually wearing gold or silver hoops when not undercover.
General description:
Moves confidently, thanks to years of sports and dance as a child and teen. She kept up with dance, and added in weight lifting, and functional movement training for work. For day to day, she favors relatively light makeup. Eyeliner, mascara, lipstick. Her hair is usually up, in either a bun, space buns, or a braided bun. She has learned through experience to avoid ponytails or loose braids.

Personality:
“They see whatever I want them to.”
Emi learned early that people see what they expect to see. Rather than fight this, she leaned into it, using it to her advantage.

She notices details and predicts behavior. This is her biggest strength as an agent. Emi believes that it's more efficient to get your mark to confess without even knowing it, than to focus on recon and analysis. She finds the tech of her industry overrated. Useful, but frequently unnecessary.

Emi is frequently resistant to control, particularly when it comes from authority she doesn't respect, such as someone less intelligent. She has an urge to push back against anyone who attempts to dictate her actions without earning the right to do so. This trait has made her both exceptionally effective as an agent, and infuriating to work with. She knows exactly how far she can push before disciplinary action is taken.

She genuinely likes people, and cares for those she trusts enough to consider close friends. Emi notices needs and addresses them without comment. She gets deeply attached once someone makes it past her walls, and has gotten hurt as a result, both personally in her past relationships, and professionally, when encountering loss. She will absolutely do what's necessary. But absolutely hates hurting others, and has manipulated situations in the past to avoid having to. Every injury or life taken at her hands weighs on her.

Emi has a quick, dry sense of humor. She appreciates humor in others, and loves banter. She reads for fun, and has a one eyed cat she rescued from a dumpster . She tries a new hobby every few months. Once she's mastered it, she moves on. Crochet, plant care, painting, cooking. She wants to know everything.

History:
Emi is the youngest of two children. She has an older sister, who married a minister and has three kids. Their father was an MP in the army. Their mother had a degree in teaching, but stayed home with the kids. Emi was closer to her father. The relationship became strained in her twenties. He wanted her far from anything military or intelligence related because of risk. She calls her family weekly, and texts frequently,despite the strain with her father.

Emi spent a good amount of her childhood in Alaska, but also lived on base in Germany, Washington State, Hawaii. The longest time she spent in one place was for college.
She carried a 4.0 through high school, and graduated with honors from the UW.

Emi has had a few serious relationships, but all ended catastrophically. She jokes that her longest relationship is with her close friend from middle school.

Weaknesses: Her temper, and lack of tolerance for ignorance. She runs her mouth when angered, which gets her into trouble.

Personality: Cecily is assertive, observant, impatient. She doesn’t tolerate fools. She has a quick wit and cutting sense of humor, but her default tends towards seriousness.

History:
Cecily is the only child of Asher and Cassia Valmont. Her mother died when Cecily was six, of a fever that tore through the city. Her father never remarried.
Asher had inherited a successful fabric trading business, along with a sizable trust when Cecily was young. That allowed her to grow up in relative comfort. Because he was frequently traveling, she was often left at home with nannies and tutors.

When she entered her teen years, she began studying the family business. Cecily refused several suitors, deeming them cruel or stupid, and threw herself into her studies.

At twenty, her father moved them to Valladrys, a port city in a neighboring country. He believed it would allow them to expand. Four years later, a heart attack robbed Cecily of her surviving parent.
