Hey there, this is Dispatch! You've come across my general purpose wants/communications thread. Before scrolling down to the good stuff though, there are a few ground rules I need to make clear:
ADULT MATERIAL 18+ ONLY: I only write with, and for, people who are eighteen years old or older. My work frequently features adult themes. If you are under 18, you shouldn't even be on this site anyways—don't interact, and don't read my writing here. AGAIN: NO MINORS, NO MINOR CHARACTERS.
TRIGGERS: My writing does not always include triggers, but it can often broach topics that people may consider triggering. This can include blood, gore, violence, warfare, abuse, sex, sexual assault, anxiety, depression, suicide, drugs, socioeconomic themes, and others. If you want to write something with me but are concerned about triggering material, let me know and I will help write around it: NOTHING HERE IS A PREREQUISITE.
SCHEDULE: My muse is a flaky, inconsistent thing. I have a sporadic writing schedule, and my energy for different projects varies dramatically on different days. Please be patient, and if you see me writing on another project while your waiting for a reply, please understand that it is not that I am bored or ignoring you: my muse is simply elsewhere, and will soon return. If I am no longer interested, I will let you know directly. Don't be afraid to poke!
- STYLE & LENGTH: I can do both long and short form roleplays, but for replies on my own threads I expect at least two or three paragraphs of at least passable writing. My typical responses range from 500 to 700 words, but I can do more or less as the situation requires. Obviously the occasional rushed post with typos is totally fine, but consistently replying using lowercase single sentences with no punctuation aren't going to cut it in this format.
If you haven't been scared off yet, then I think we could probably work together—let's begin!
ABOUT ME
-My identity can be summed up as a cisgender male and gay-leaning bisexual. My IRL interests are wide-ranging but include nature, literature, video games, DND, all sorts of culture and science, history, and more!
-I've been an experienced roleplayer for well over a decade now, and I love to write stories and worldbuild!
-I am more open to smut, but it is NOT A REQUIREMENT. Feel free to ask about if we could do any of my story ideas WITHOUT sexual content—the answer is probably yes! (Or if you want the opposite, feel free to ask me about my kinks LMAO)

Group / Larger Stories
TLDR: Become part of the crew of a drillship (AKA a "subterrene"), exploring a fantastical underground world as you search for a legendary drillship that had disappeared 100 years ago.
Setting: Dieselpunk / fantasy mix, cave and underground terrain focus.
Themes: adventure, exploration, crew/teamwork dynamics, underground themed worldbuilding.
Sexual Content: None to Light - Not the focus of the RP, but I'll allow some mild smut behind spoilers if people want.
Violence: Medium - There's going to be plenty of chill, peaceful slice of life, as well as horrific battles and fights in this strange world. Warfare and fighting isn't the main focus, but, well… your drillship has flamethrowers on it for a reason.
Darkness: Variable - The tone can change scene by scene, and will feature both lighthearted fluff and moments of dark despair and subject matter.

TLDR: Twenty-something years after giant, mutant animals began appearing on Earth to wreak havoc, an international team of specialists and their unique tools are put together to combat them… Yet, it seems like all their main challenges are human.
Setting: Science fiction (near-future, Earth).
Sexual Content: None - "Fade to black" only for this one please.
Violence: Light to Mild - To be sure there will be intense moments and great fights, but it'll mostly be fantastical/grand scale in nature. Not personally gory or brutal.
Darkness: Light to Mild - There's going to be some difficult themes about interpersonal relationships and difficulties with other people, but I'm not expecting anything ultra-dark.
Setting: Science fiction (near-future, Earth).
Sexual Content: None - "Fade to black" only for this one please.
Violence: Light to Mild - To be sure there will be intense moments and great fights, but it'll mostly be fantastical/grand scale in nature. Not personally gory or brutal.

TLDR: Silly, stylish serial killer battle royale, set in a mysterious Midwestern city.
Setting: Contemporary modern, light urban fantasy elements.
Themes: Battle royale, noir, criminal fiction, detective fiction, thriller, horror, horror-comedy.
Sexual Content: Variable - Not the main focus, but I'm thinking there can be smut can be allowed behind spoilers.
Violence: Heavy - It's a serial killer roleplay, so expect a fair bit of blood, gore, and outrageous and creative violence.
Darkness: Medium to Heavy - Again, it is a serial killer roleplay. We don't have to go too nuts with it, but you should expect some dark themes.
Setting: Contemporary modern, light urban fantasy elements.

Setting: Pokemon world, with a roughly Cold War tech level.
Themes: Warfare, Pokemon worldbuilding, hope in adversity.
Sexual Content: None - I'm thinking "fade to black" only for this one, if at all. Anything else just seems wrong.
Violence: Heavy - It has "war" in the title, what did you expect!?
Darkness: Heavy - Themes of nationalism, violence, warfare, and other related topics are of course going to be touched on.
Setting: Pokemon world, with a roughly Cold War tech level.
Themes: Warfare, Pokemon worldbuilding, hope in adversity.
Sexual Content: None - I'm thinking "fade to black" only for this one, if at all. Anything else just seems wrong.

Setting: Contemporary real-world modern day, with very mild alt-history due to the Death-Cast app (some institutions like hospitals act slightly different).
Themes: Slice of life, drama, death, family life, friends life, deep thoughts.
Sexual Content: None to Some - Not at all the focus of this roleplay, but romance and mortality-fueled lack of inhibition can lead to some spicy moments.
Violence: Little to Some - Probably at the end, at least.
Darkness: Medium to Heavy - This is an emotionally heavier story focused on death, so there will be some dark themes.
Preferred Pairing: Any x Any

TLDR: Powerful leader YC has gotten a present after defeating an enemy faction—MC, their less powerful but respected leader, has been delivered as collateral for MC's faction's good behavior. What will YC do with him…?

Setting: Any - Urban fantasy is my initial idea, but others would work as well.
Themes: Political thriller, intrigue, character drama, domination and submission, gang wars, control, captor/captive dynamic.
Sexual Content: Medium to Heavy - I am hoping for this to be a relatively hot RP, where YC takes advantage of the situation to get closer to MC. It doesn't have to be smut-centric, but I would like for it to be included.
Violence: Medium to Heavy - Assassinations, raids, warfare, and other kinds of fights are all part of the factional conflict, and YC may choose to take out some anger on MC with torture if they want…
Darkness: Heavy - Themes of corruption, harsh conflict, and domination are inherent to the story, and may be further augmented by all sorts of other personal drama.
Preferred Pairing: Mild M x M preference, open to others though.
Setting: Any - Urban fantasy is my initial idea, but others would work as well.
Themes: Political thriller, intrigue, character drama, domination and submission, gang wars, control, captor/captive dynamic.

Themes: Luxury, partying, debauchery, sci-fi worldbuilding, drama, servant/master character dynamic.
Sexual Content: Heavy - Planning for this to be a 60/40 or 40/60 split between smut and plot.

TLDR: Same thing as BOOGEY, modified for a 1x1 with more of a focus on character relationships and with most of the serial killers being NPCs.
