This month, we've received a record number of challenge entries. The amount of effort that has gone into them is amazing and all our contestants have done an excellent job.

Moving on, though. This month has demonstrated to us that our current model of challenges is unsustainable. A single thread is capped in how many replies can fit on one page and we almost reached that cap this month. We're also unable to have chat announce the new entries and unable to easily move our winner into the winners forum. And, quite crucially in our view, there's no designated place for letting the writer hear from people just how much their work is liked.
The change here will be simple. Instead of challenges occurring in one thread, they will instead occur each month in a forum. The announcement post will include the prompt and details as usual. However, instead of responding with your entry in that thread, every entry will instead be posted as a thread in the forum. At the end of the month, we will post the entries into a thread for voting.
Every entry should be posted as Username - Title (If you have one).

Possible alterations to the voting system are currently under discussion, but will be announced separately.
Finally—the other reason for this change:
The forum system will allow us to more easily run multiple challenges. We can officially announce that our first Sanctum Art Challenge will be starting in the next few days.
